^^^The country is about to give HRC a great birthday present later today in the form of an incredible Supreme Court Justice.
Happy Thanksgiving everybody.
I've got a feeling the Christmas is going to be...a little different around here. :naughty:
In my neighborhood today is trash day.

So I was truly ready to "retire" a year ago, but after nearly 30 years running a business here in Denver some of my long time customers, hearing I was approaching the end, came in for one last grab. Funny how news travels so quickly amongst not only friends, but people you wouldn't have imagined were "connected".
So as I was waiting for my truck camper to be built I went ahead and did quite a few jobs and promised a few select people that when the weather warmed up I'd either paint or refresh their houses. Just a few and this morning I completed my last full on exterior, ever. I mean it, too...I'm getting rid of the sprayer and the big boy ladder...can't do jack shit exterior wise without those two things.
I'll still work every now and then (my phone will be ringing long after I'm dead) but only the gravy work for mad money and to maintain some relationships...there are dozens of people over the years that have really sold me to others and I owe them a lot. Interior work, easy outside stuff...I'm going to have to learn to say "no". That's one of the main reasons I bought the camper...can't paint a thing when I'm a thousand miles away!
So I complete John Sheflick's house today and he wants me to sign the back of his shed to signify the event...the shed will go back up against the house and no one will see what I wrote until that thing gets pulled away again God knows when. I told him when I started last week that he was the "last one" and he was quite pleased about that...he got lucky...he had a guy build an excellent fence around his back yard and then got a real good paint job. It's hard getting good work done these days.

Happy for you, man. Good luck with the nomadic camper life. I gotta say, I'm a little jealous.
