I'm not a huge college football fan, but I do miss NFL football already. Nothing better than spending your whole sunday watching NFL ticket
I can't wait for the NBA playoffs.....GO JAZZ!!!
I just realized that I was in the fantasy sports section instead of "sports junkie" (sorry about that).
If Utah had an NFL team I would probably appreciate NFL more, but as it is I just don't have a team and that makes it harder to get in to it for me.
Plus I hate how fickle most pro fans are. Often when players get traded fans are upset that the players weren't more loyal to the team but if that same player does bad for 2 years the fans want them traded. I just feel like there is a lack of loyalty and dedication in NFL that you really get in college.
I watched an interview last year with Bo Jackson. He was asked if he missed playing football and replied he missed playing for a team, but he had not done that since college. He did not miss playing for work. Work football was not fun but playing for the team was.
Yup.... I miss college football.
Nothing beats a great college football game for pure energy
Hey I'm loving college basketball, but then again, I am a COUGAR. :haha: :2thumbs:
I love Summer but I just can't wait for Fall and getting Football going again. I know this next year is not going to be a great year for Ohio State, but I miss the games a lot!
Gotta love college football especially when your alma mater is LSU who ranks Number 1 !! Geaux Tigers!! :2thumbs:
Ok....back to the game.
Heading for OT.
Kentucky in triple OT..... awesome game.
#1, #2 and others went down. What a crazy year! BCS ranking computer. . . :compthrow:
Yep......bummer that my team lost, but it was one hell of a game! :2thumbs:Quote:

That was a definite last second (literally) nail biter!! With something like 10 seconds left on the clock, everyone in the room kept yelling at the screen "call the damn time out!!!" Didn't expect that last throw for sure. But hey, LSU won - that's all that counts. :2thumbs:Quote:

Good teams win close games.
I hope ya'll watched the Hawaii game.... Hawaii is goooooooooodddd.
:2thumbs:
I think they will give that Georgia defense a show. I think a team has to outscore Hawaii and good luck with that IMO. I was smashed the next day after staying up watching that game. :popcorn:Quote:

Actually I though Hawaii had a very easy time with a poor PAC 10 team.... Hawaii's problem in that game was never Washington.... it was that Hawaii kept shooting themselves in the foot the entire first quarter.... to come back and win after making that many turnovers just shows how good they really are. Not many teams could have done that. and Hawaii will not make those turnovers again...Quote:

Agreed. More time will be key for this team.
The last couple of weeks Georgia has been playing like the best team in the country.
Last year I was a big supporter of BSU against Oklahoma but I think the BCS has set Hawaii up with a nearly impossible feat. If Georgia plays the way they have this last month, I don't think Hawaii has too much of a chance.
And yes, I know it is only because what a crazy season it has been that the "Luckeyes" (as Shane likes to call them) are in the National championship game. What can I say? I don't think that Ohio State is the best team this year, but I of course will cheer them on against LSU.
It's snowing like a MF, nothing to do, no college football this weekend.... I think I'm having withdrawals....
Tell me about it. I checked ESPN probably 20 times yesterday looking for football updates.
Playing at the college team is a very cool occupation! I think that playing at the college team is so cool as writing some articles for a college newspaper! But for playing at the college team you have to play quality! And for writing some articles for a college newspaper you have to write correctly and it is possible with a help of the site - the services of which you can watch if you click here - it is the best company that proposes not only a help in verifying papers for newspaper but also in writing coursework for college!
Anybody but Alabama!

Yeah long haired mofo.
Bama got crushed by a true freshman QB who could probably go to the NFL this year. Not just him, but the defense and everything just dominated. 15-0

Big win for Boise State in Tallahassee.

In better news for BYU. Well actually they may be more desperate now.

Boise State was a great game!

This one looks interesting. Coach Petersens final game against his old team. Those Broncos are a team that shows up to play 95% of the time.

Class act all the way with a great acceptance speech! Now....bring on the Peach Bowl and (hopefully) the Championship game in New Orleans.
