BogleyFest: Fruita, CO - Oct. 14-17

My calendar is filling up quickly and this destination has been on the Bogley radar for several years. The helmetcam potential looks amazing on these trails and the scenery incredible. The video posted by MtnBkr sure wets the appetite! When is it too hot to go? Never?! :naughty:

I already have 3 weekends blocked in June. Lets throw some dates out there and nail something down. We have locals nearby that can show us around. July, August, beyond?? :popcorn:

I'd go for too late rather than too soon. I used to live in Fruita and to me at least, it's usually too figgen hot around Memorial Day (and certainly July and August) for pleasant mountain biking. I might be interested if it were October.

October has my vote. I was there end of last May and it was 112!

Id look into coming in the fall. Ive been to capitol reef in june and it was toasty!

The last Saturday in September would work for me or Oct 15th weekend....

Last weekend in September is Xterra up in Ogden, I plan on racing again. So my vote is for Oct 15th.

I can't quite commit to anything right now, but I'll try to make whatever date you guys decide on.

I vote oct 15th too. Im penciling it into my calendar now.

I can't 100% commit being so far out and the variables of adding a new baby in late Aug but I would be in for the OCT date. I hear there are some great family freindly campgrounds with facilities etc.

Looks like there will be at least one new trail built before this event happens..

I'm going!! Unless I do something stupid, the light should be green!! My wife's cousin lives in Grand Junction and is a Road/Mtn Biker. I will ask him to attend and to get me some local info.

I will pencil it in.

not much into mtnbiking but I should be free for a day or two !!!

Sorry, I'm out....heading for Hawaii then.:cool2:..........to do some biking in Hawaiian Volcanoes Natl. Pk.

I say lets move this party to Hawaii! :haha: Don't know at this time if I can make Fruita, have to see what the cash flow is looking like closer to this date.
