The "trial" is in the Senate, where a 2/3 vote is necessary for conviction. No way they'll get that, as all but 3 Repubs already have signed a letter calling the House actions a sham.
The 3 who didn't sign are Murkowski, Collins, and Romney. I believe Collins will vote to acquit in the end. Possibly 2 Dems as well, Jones of Alabama and Manchin of WV. So the vote will be somewhere between 48-52 and 50-50 to remove. 67-33 being the needed vote to remove.
