Where is Moss? Also can Utah get a few more penalties? It’s just too easy.

Not looking like a top ten team...
Here’s to hoping for a better second half.
Utah is playing good if they would just eliminate the penalties. The penalties are drive killers.

Utah looks like a paper tiger.
Utah's a good team and will win a lot of games this year, they just need to clean up their play. Getting called for 16 penalties for sloppy play just won't cut it against one of the top 5 most athletic teams in the country.
Anyone who thinks a team will run the PAC 12 is a fanboy and doesn't pay attention to the actual football being played. The winner out of the South will have at least two loses. the bad part for Utah is USC now owns the tie breaker.
YMMV

Well it's official: BYU is better than Utah this year.
Hopefully Moss's injury doesn't bench him for the entire season. Brumfield is good, but we really need Moss in there.
Reports: Utah football to play Florida in 2022, 2023 and drop BYU from schedule
SALT LAKE CITY — The University of Utah football program has reportedly scheduled a home-and-home series with SEC Blue Blood Florida, according to a report out of Florida.
Pat Dooley, a reporter for gatorsports.com, tweeted Monday afternoon that Florida has scheduled a nonconference matchup with Utah for the 2022 and 2023 season.
Utah would travel to Gainsville, Florida, in 2022 and Florida would travel to Salt Lake City in 2023. The 2023 game would be the first for an SEC school to play in Salt Lake City. Previously, Arkansas was scheduled to be the first SEC program to travel to Salt Lake City with their scheduled game at Rice-Eccles Stadium in 2026.
Neither Florida or Utah have confirmed the report.
Utah’s nonconference schedule for both 2022 and 2023 are already filled out with teams. Barring the Pac-12 changing its nine-game conference slate, Utah is set to get out of its contract with BYU, according to Steve Bartle of utezone.com.
That would mean Utah would likely play Florida on the road on Sept. 3, 2022 and return to Salt Lake City on Sept. 16, 2023.
The 2022 matchup with Florida would be the second time ever the two programs have met. Utah previously played Florida on Nov. 19, 1977, a 38-29 loss on the road. The Utes currently hold a 3-9 record against the SEC, with its most notable win coming against Alabama in the 2009 Sugar Bowl.

Too bad Utah isn't playing Florida now while the Gators aren't at their best. :haha:
If I remember correctly Utah has not beaten WaZoo since 2012...
So anyone want to make predictions for this weekend?

Utah by 5
Well, considering Utah will be without the glass brothers (Zack Moss and Tyler Huntley), and Washington State will have a full stable of some of the speediest air raiders in the Pac12, plus the fact that Kyle Whittingham is Mike Leach's bitch -- I've gotta go with Wazoo by a touchdown, unfortunately.
Utah will drop out of the rankings after this weekend.
I've come to the conclusion that Utah is slightly worse than last year's team. And it makes sense because look at all the players (especially defensive) that graduated last year:
Chase Hansen
Cody Barton
Mitch Wishnowski
Matt Gay
Lo Falemaka
Marquise Blair
Corrion Ballard
Jordan Agasiva
Huntley is out? Moss is a maybe.
Here comes the boo birds...sky is falling I guess.
Next man up!
Huntley is out with a foot injury.
Moss is out for sure and might not return until after the first bye week.
It's not a huge deal because Wazoo doesn't have a very good defense. The most important position in this game will be the Utes secondary - and they better come heavy.
^^^Not a huge deal? Your offense is damn important because you have to keep up with the WaZoo track meet. Utah's defense has never been good at stopping the Air Raid Offense and after last week I don't see that changing any time soon. USC now runs the Air Raid and scorched Utah with a 3rd string QB that had only ever thrown 12 times in a game. Utah made USC's QB3 look like a Heisman candidate.

Mike Leach interview. Love this guy! LOL

Acca's man-crush on Mike Leach always brings a smile to my face.
Either Utah or WaZoo is going to be 0-2 and on PAC12 deaths doorstep after Friday's game.... and since WaZoo seems to have Utah's number I don't have a lot of confidence...

Utah is favored by 6. Hopefully the weather will slow down Wassu’s passing attack and Utah’s running game will be the X factor
It's supposed to rain cats and dogs tomorrow. A driving rain should stop the air raid somewhat. At least slow it down.
