That's actually not a bad hike. Did you go up top to the old reservoir?
No, I stuck to the canyon rim and turned around when I got to the top. I didn't venture north at all; I definitely need to get back up there and check it out some day.

Old rail pits from just off the Pony Express trail in Tooolee country.
Bout half way between Faust and the HWY by 5mile wreckreation.
Or better still 7.3 miles west of Wild Bill Canyon for us old folks?

I'm most likely wrong but I have not been up there since the early 70's and have know Idea but it is just a guess.
