These are awesome. Love the blue bug. OK, I have a few.
I call this one "Family Portrait"
How about an Elk with blue dreadlocks?
Up his nose it goes. Anyone remember that old Cheech & Chong bit?
Nice shots Robert
OK, the elk photo has me wondering. The rope looks like it has a bunch of butterfly knots in it. Whada this elk do? Take out a climbing party??? :ne_nau: :haha:
Don't know. He was wandering around outside the Visitor Center at the Grand Canyon. I was a little concerned for him until a ranger came by. The ranger took out his camera got a few shots of the Elk and started laughing. If he wasn't concerned, I guess the Elk will be OK.
The Elk had a friend who seemed to be trying to help him get the rope off. They would butt heads for a while and then give up. I think the other Elk finally figured out that if he got the rope off of his buddy, it would probably end up on him.
As soon as he sheds those antlers in the winter, all that crap will come off and he'll be a little smarter next time!
That said, I LOVE seeing all these wildlife pics. Seeing a Utah muley or an Elk just gets my blood pumping. Such beautiful animals.
From last weekend
I caught him peeking in the window. (North Ogden, Utah)

I found this little critter northwest of St. George, I found five others in less than a quarter mile.
Here are a few of my favorites. Bonus points for anyone whom can name all the animals!
