A massive pile of tumble weeds at the sand dunes--- now that's a bonfire you can see from the space shuttle. :nod: not that I would know or anything. :lol8:

Working on getting pictures of my highschool homecoming bonfire. We burried a telephone pole standing straight up in pallets and spools. Over all, it was probably 12-15,000 sq feet at the base. Much more mass than the previous year's. Only took us 2 weeks of straight work to build. (Principal excused all absenses, and the entire football team would help as soon as practice was over each night). And then one night to burn. :nod: (plus another 2 weeks of smoldering) :popcorn:

Found a beautiful shot up camping at Spirit Lake over 24th of July week - north slope of the Uintahs - Amazingly beautiful serene area...the lodge is at 10,000ft, just don't go up there over 24th of July weekend with all the other humans

Dude, without those headlamps positined just so, the shots would never had turned out as good as they did. My fav is the one that kinda looks like the heart in Timpanogos. It turned out exactly how I wanted it to.

I'm kicking myself though, because I still haven't gotten into the habit of naming the author AND who is shown in the picture.

Some of you have been posting this info, which is great. Can I also ask that you post the uutah.com link where it was originally posted? (if this isn't the first posting) This will help with the next project of linking up the pics. Thanks.

I've got Masiel already up there, in the 4th window, but I just updated her name on the pic. Who is it with the bonfire? I've just got it labeled "price1869" for now, but I'll change it if you want.
