If he wins by a landslide, their narrative will be that that is clear evidence that he colluded with foreign powers to rig the election, because there is no way that that many people in USA can be deranged enough to vote for him. This, justifying another 4 years of investigations and trials to get rid of him.

As a side-commentary, just as you can have a “bad cop” in a society, why not a “bad soldier” who only has blood in his eyes? Not defending or attacking Gallagher per se, but 6 people came out on public record. Not 1 or 2, but 6. I just find that...interesting.
