I also think Huntley will have a short leash if things start going south.

The offense can’t get anywhere...
Got a little help..
The Red Zone woes continue.
I thought the new OC was supposed to fix this with his high octane offense...
Post game press conference. Coach Whitt comes on a couple minutes after the players.

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, if Utah plays like they did the last 3 quarters of the UCLA game they can stand toe to toe with anyone in the PAC. Huntley is the gasoline that makes the team go.
WaZoo has to be more then a little nervous having to travel to SLC next weekend. Are they going to play Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde?
It's Whitt's job to have that answer. If he's lost control of his team it's time for him to retire.
Right now the Cougars are favored by 1 point. Basically anybody's game. The Utah fan in me says the Utes will grind out a win. The realist in me says Wazoo will prevail because they always seem to have Utah's number, and on top of that they're really good this year plus it's a down year for Utah.
We'll see...
Huntley is the motor that makes this team go.... as Huntley goes, so go the Utes.
I hate to say it, but I think Wassu wins this one. Luke Faulk lights up Utah’s defense.
I'm taking Utah in this one. Huntley is back to playing great. WaZoo has crashed and burned spectacularly twice on the road this year and their is no tougher road game then the altitude special in RES.
You were saying? Pathetic...
What a train wreck!
It’s a good red zone scrimmage for WSU.
Bring out Troy Williams.
I won’t argue, lots to learn.
When it rains it pours...

5 picks on Huntley and 3 fumbles by others. 7 turnovers won’t win many games...
Utah is just not very good this year.
Last night the O-line did a great imitation of a revolving door.
Huntley was running for his life.
But why though? Is this a coaching problem? They have the talent. So why can't they do something with it?
It's been years since I've seen a Utah squad perform this dismally. Not really sure of the reasons why.
The O-line is a huge part of the problem. And the biggest part of that problem is last years O-line is now playing in the NFL This is a very young O-line. It also doesn't help that the new offensive requires completely different blocking schemes that Utah is slow to grasp. This new offense requires the line to slide, while past offenses required more a bulldozing method. Injuries to the O-line haven't helped.
Utah has really good coaches and they will get things fixed. I really don't think things are as bad as some of you are making them out to be. Utah was 2 yards short of beating USC, and they had a chance to tie up last night's game in the last 2 minutes, and that was after 7 turnovers.
It also doesn't help that the PAC 12 is really good top to bottom. The difference between those on top and those on the bottom usually comes down to 4 or 5 plays a game, that's a very narrow path to the top.
In addition, anyone that thought installing a completely new offense would be easy and painless was fooling themselves. Occasionally you get a glimpse of what this offense can do when the team gets in sync, but right now they step on their own dick much too often.
Right now I'm just hoping this team gets bowl eligible as the 2 extra weeks of practice that comes with a bowl will go along ways towards helping next years team fix some of the issues they have.
Sometimes you eat the bear, and sometimes the bear eats you.
BYU at the end. I like that change.

This article calls coach Whitt "one of the most overrated coaches in the country."

"In the final analysis, even though the win was full of warts, it’s still a huge win. In case you didn’t know, winning on the road is hard, even if the opponent stinks and has one of the most overrated coaches in the country."
So how bad does it get for the Utes tonight in Seattle?
Washington is favored by 17.5
Whittingham has never beat Peterson and that includes Boise State.
Throw it away clown... pin them deep. What a joke.
Too many field goals. Is this soccer?
