The problem with that is that not a single Democrat pundit, politician or academic has condemned the violence and vandalism. Not one...no tweets, official statements, Facebook posts, nothing. Maybe that's the "answer", huh? Just throw them some bones...vote Dem because Trump sure as hell isn't going to do it.
Doom and Gloom? On the contrary (except perhaps in Doug's case)...I'm personally pretty optimistic that a majority of this country is not going along with the program. Seems like most of those around here are as well.
The Dem party is never coming back. They've turned into the Communist/Socialist Party of the USA. Strange and tragic at the same time...when Trump was elected and they started going off the rails I declared (on this site) that the Democrat Party was in serious need of reformation if it were to stay relevant. They reformed, alright.

The amount of bullshit information spread by so called experts kills me..and how easily people want to believe that bullshit because they just want this to go away blows my mind.
Yes the CCP is devious and in general out to line their own pockets. They have been up to some very nefarious things. So easy to blame this on them to try and make sense of something that is random. And if it makes you feel better or vindicated to blame China that is your prerogative.
This virus was naturally occurring. Just like every other pandemic that has blazed across this globe. Mother Nature can be a real bitch sometimes.
I am still voting for aliens. I mean seriously how awesome would 2020 be if we had solid and final proof aliens existed. Besides it would take our minds off the virus.

Substance abuse? They seemed to go against the conventional mainstream ‘science’ that been pushed by most other countries (I recall New Zealand gloating several weeks back about near out at zero confirmed cases thanks in large part to practically full house arrest and complete closed borders). When all is said and done, did they take the right approach?

Blueeyes, I appreciate and respect the vast majority of your alternative viewpoints on here. But, I’m going to have to call you on this one. I think this is total BS. At what point are we supposed to be trusting ‘the people in charge’? When they tell us that this virus is not spread from person to person? When they tell us one moment not to wear masks because they aren’t very effective and healthy people don’t need to wear one? Or the next moment when the same people are saying we should all be wearing masks, and now are telling us to wear face shields as well? Are we supposed to trust the government leaders who funnel sick patients into rest homes and kill 10s of thousands of people? Or the medical professionals who praise those leaders and say they are doing things right? Are we supposed to trust the people that condemn the approach that Sweden took? Or the ones that praised them and said they should be the model ( same group, just a few months apart). Are we supposed to trust the ones that say people shouldn’t congregate in churches, but refuse to say the same about riots ( er, peaceful protesting)? After POTUS stops travel from China, do we listen to the leaders that condemn him for it and tell us to come on down to Chinatown for a good time, or do we believe them was month later when they criticize him for not doing enough to stop the virus?
