Read about this story. Mao level confession on display.
If you see BLM and the riots as the college classroom come to the entire country, the next phase is clear. Consider how that classroom has been imposed on us with no resistance. Because there isn't any to be had anymore. No meaningful power lies with us. Not corporate, political, or cultural. We observe and comment about what's happening and little more at this point.
I don't know where we go or if a counter movement can evolve. I thought Trump was that start in 2016, an uprising of common sense Americanism. But the 2018 wipeout said otherwise. It's a statement about media and tech power, not a judgement on the truth of our side. It's hard to fathom how weak our position is. How can truth lose in the good old USA, afterall.
There's an old Lenin iirc quote, "Show me the classrooms of today and I'll show you the country of tomorrow."
You know, the last time this level of Communist fear was present here in the USA was back in the 1950's. The ideas you're pitching are not new.
So why didn't the Soviets take over the US in the 1950s -- during the height of McCarthyism and Red Scare politics?
I still find it slightly amusing that you (or anyone) still thinks we live in a two-party system. My take is that we live under a regime of Corporate Capitalism where two political parties vie to be subservient to big corporations. Why else would 8 years of an Obama presidency yield next to nothing -- even in the face of so many promises and so much absolute control?
We had a base population with American values. So the left did the next best thing, took over the factories of people and minds: schools and media. They've conquered those in totality.
I agree. The Bush R party and Dems had essentially merged at the altar of corporate globalism. The Trump R party represented a break from that. But the Corp globalists are done with him. They got the tax cuts and dereg, but now want open borders and open trade. They prefer Dems, believing they can lobby to minimize the bad aspects.Quote:

This guy is the sweetest, nicest host you'll ever see in this partisan era. No idea how anyone thought he'd have the weight to moderate a debate with Trump in it.
Granted he'll be biased, but I can't see him raising his voice.
Jimmy Failla: Trump is on pace to win 2020 election in a 'lawn-slide'
https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/trum...e-jimmy-failla
------
I have to say, this struck me in 2016, the staggering number of lawn signs in Iowa vs Clinton's. And Iowa was a blue wall state, recall. Was 10 or 20 to 1 then.
Let's add complacency to the Dem side since they're growing so confident now.
If Trump loses the popular by 5% or so and somehow squeaks in EVs? There will be nationwide insurrection of a civil war level, imo.
We've seen it in some key cities. But I think it would spread to hundreds or thousands of cities. If Trump wins both the pop and EV, less so, and in those same type of locales you named. Uniquely a large loss in pop, narrow win in EV scenario. To them it would emphasize the "structural racism" yada yada of the Constitution and draw the revolutionaries out in force.
i dont get it ! president trump was not that bad of a president ! why do people not love him ?
hmmm-is this in regards to Trump declassifying the russia hoax?

Trump authorizes declassification of all Russia collusion, Hillary Clinton email probe documents
The president’s tweets come after Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe declassified documents that revealed former CIA Director John Brennan briefed former President Obama on Hillary Clinton’s purported “plan” to tie then-candidate Donald Trump to Russia as “a means of distracting the public from her use of a private email server” ahead of the 2016 presidential election.

You guys will let me know if "the chair is against the wall"?
Message to Intel: ‘This is Over, Hand Over All the Evidence of Russia Hoax NOW’
Rep. Kevin McCarthy noted what a colossal waste of time the “Russia” investigation has been, focusing on a fake story when we’ve been trying for so long to get the real story. He said that when the letter from Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe to Sen. Lindsay Graham was released, leaders of Congress wanted to have a meeting about it right away. Seems in all this time no one in either the House or Senate had seen this information. “This should drive every member of Congress,” he said, “to go get the underlying information that John Ratcliffe has just made transparent to the world.”
Looking back now, the timeline of events is just tragic. In July of 2016, key people are briefed that Russian intelligence has picked up that Hillary’s campaign was creating a false narrative about Trump “colluding” with Russia to take attention off Hillary’s email scandal. Then-CIA Director John Brennan personally briefs President Obama and others of this on July 26. “Crossfire Hurricane” is conveniently (for Hillary) opened just a few days later, on July 31. When former FBI Director James Comey is asked about this briefing last Wednesday, he says it “Doesn’t ring a bell.”
We know this is a lie. Investigating a major presidential candidate for being an agent of Russia is a huge deal, the details of which are not something that would simply escape one’s memory … unless perhaps we’re talking about Joe Biden’s memory.
McCarthy calls this “the biggest news that didn’t get reported.” True, last week was a big week for news, but there was plenty of time before the report that Trump had tested positive for COVID-19 to get it out there.

Why didn't this release of declassified documents happen sooner?
Considering the election is less than a month away this tactic kind of smells of desperation. Not to mention the media is gonna under-report the hell out of it.
I hear what you're saying. But if Durham refuses to release before the election and Barr forces it, Durham could single handedly discredit the entire investigation by saying it was forced.
This might be a way around Durham's dragging without discrediting what could be a good report.
I don't know, could be either, and either is bad. The sad reality is it doesn't matter. Trump is on track to lose handily and this entire matter ends in January.
The forces of the left and deep state proved too powerful. The American Experiment is over if the Senate falls as well. And Barr's seeming gung ho on taking down the deep state might have been a ruse all along to gain confidence from us.
