The Eagles played here the other night. You know what's left of them? Don Henley and that dude who played bass on The Long Run.
While not an original member, Joe Walsh has been with them a long time. Some friends saw the concert in New Orleans a couple of weeks ago and said it was awesome. They played for over 2 hours. Glen Frey's son in now a member (looks very much like his Dad when he was young) and Vince Gill was also onstage. I've seen them twice, but it's been awhile. Last one was supposedly the "last tour" which was the Hell Freezes Over tour. First concert I saw was when they were promoting Hotel California. Yes.....I go back a ways.......:haha:Quote:

Oh God! How can I forget Joe Walsh? It's too bad they can't convince Don Felder to play with them. He's living in Las Vegas doing Eagles hits in lounges. I saw that recently on Sammy Hagar's Road Trip. He's still got the chops...played Hotel California in it's entirety, on guitar and singing it all by himself. Sounded and played great.Quote:
