Less than two weeks to go! So please again, keep me posted on your camping situation. We have plenty of room at the group campsite. My new Moab road trip machine complete with the turbocharged engine, 6 disc changer, climate control, heated seats, and a near immaculate interior. Just wait until this beauty is set up with a Thule rack, hitch receiver, and a second set of summer tires on 17" wheels.

I'll be starting packing this weekend and leaving Wednesday. If I can find a spot in Jaycee Park or Williams Bottom, I'll camp there. If the group site is a person or two short of the minimum 15, I'll be breaking camp and moving. I will otherwise stay where I am until I'm ready to leave in the middle of the following week. If I can't find a site in Jaycee Park or Williams Bottom, I'll be looking for GHB and the rest in Sand Flats.

35 year old that likes new adventures. 3 kids, great wife. I live in Herriman Utah. I go mountain biking with Matt Luce, and he is the one that made me aware of this trip. Bit of a computer geek...

My son's name is Brayden, age 13. He is into sports, baseball/football/TKD.

Kinda bummed. I will be in Moab May 9-16 so I will miss the party.

Oh well.

You can watch me ride Moab live on XXXoffroadTV though.
We will have a cam transmitting live from the trail on my RZR.

Its on XXXoffroad.com on the front page. I think the broadcast will
be 13-16, 4-5 hours per day.

Damn that took me an hour to read that entire post.
We'll be down atving in Moab that weekend with a bunch of roudy neighbors.
If anyone is interested in taggin along on some atving, we'll probably be hitting fins & things, maybe hells revenge on friday morning, then probably out to poison spider in the afternoon. PM me if the whole hiking/biking thing is a bit too quiet and you need some noise and dust to liven up your moab trip.

Ok I am bit bummed tonight. My car is making a hideous screeching noise. I am taking it to the shop tomorrow. Hopefully nothing to serious and it won't set me back and arm and a leg.

Keep ya posted. Depending on what they say this may knock me out of gonig to Moab.

Cross your fingers. Maybe it's just a serpentine belt.

You're on my way but it will be another 3-4 months before I've set my Forester up with a utility trailer and a rack. Until then, I'm limited to two bikes and whatever camping gear I can fit inside.

I can hold 4 bikes! :lol8: Never towed anything. But if I ever buy a trailer I am almost ready to, just need to get the device that runs the lights hooked up.

Hey all! I just wanted to remind you that the reserved campsite is a group campsite that's use is for RV camping so it's going to be huge. Because it's an RV site, this means you can bring your pop ups, 5th wheels or campers.....whatever. But there will be those of us in tents too. :) It's also limited on shade so think about that........

:2thumbs: A few showers down there are no big deal but it should be perfect temps :nod: Remember to have something with you to dress warm at night. I'm probably preaching to the choir here but plan to be comfortable people, not to just get by :nod: ...and since the forcast shows a little rain sometime over the weekend I'll try to pack some extra 'headcover'. I am starting to pack TODAY. I am off for the rest of the week. Monday I work one day & then off again to pack! :cool2:

Just the front breaks. Cost me just over a $100 to get them fixed and Casey should have them done tonight (which is a good thing, I have to work tonight in SL, I don't like riding the train).

I was talking to a friend last night on yahoo messenger. He told me of a few places for me and the kids to check out. I wrote them all down at home and will share tomorrow.
