Yes and no...back when this was happening a lot of people were saying the same things in a roundabout way. This guy is just really good at putting it all together. He speaks well and he's a good writer, too.

You have to wonder why they ended up choosing Biden over Pete or Amy...either one of those would have towed the "moderate" line but perhaps the string pullers of the Committee figured Biden would be easier to control. Also, perhaps they wanted to save Pete and Amy for political capital down the road and not have them tarnished by eating a Trump knuckle sammie. They're going to have to load up for what's coming...they're going to have to fight off the socialist. They're going to need some people that are at least somewhat recognizable.

Isn't it crazy how different the conservatives and the liberals choose their candidates? With the Republicans, the best man wins. Trump stood on stage with 17 other people and he systematically wiped them all out...fair and square. There sure as hell weren't any big wig string pullers making moves for him.

The Democrats? Their candidate is appointed...that's friggin' obvious. Why do they even have a convention with delegates? It's all just a bullshit show. The DNC is essentially the equivalent of the Soviet Politburo. Made definitively clear with Hillary and now Biden...how does it feel to be lead around by the nose? I'm sure plenty on the Dem party aren't down with it. They just blow toes off left and right.

Politics is supposed to be about subtlety...sleight of hand. If done correctly, one side gets what it wants without the other getting too bent out of shape. What the Democrats desire is power and control...but you've got to wonder what the hell they're going to do with it once they have it and do they really want it?

Think about it...THEY would immediately assume responsibility for the agitators and anarchist that they appear to covet...also, they would have to work to appease the majority in the country that fight them tooth and nail in regards to their socialist agenda. In other words, the power and control they seek will turn out to be one hell of a hot potato, indeed.

Do they really want it? The smart thing to do would be to bail out on this election and take the next 2-4 years to get their shit together...otherwise they're going to have to manage a trifecta...violent anarchists, the socialist congressmen that are gunning for them and at least 50% of the country that will be giving them the firm middle finger.

For months now, normal law abiding citizens have remained relatively calm in the face of all this insanity, but there's only so much these people will take. The Democrats may actually be stupid enough to assume that our "relaxed posture" equates complacency...but if they assume power and continue to travel down the path they're on, they're going to see us get up out of our chair...in a foul mood.

That's what this meme says to me...if Trump wins they back off and blame everything on him, but if they win that flaming torch ends up right into their hands and they'll have nowhere to hide as well as being attacked on three sides.

Perhaps Biden is their way of sitting it out after all?

For anyone wondering about Jimmy Dore's politics, he's a Democrat who is very frustrated and angry at his party. He thinks Trump is a tool, but realizes that the only reason why we have Trump is because we had 8 horrible years of Obama -- and Biden would be even worse than Obama.

There are many Democrats out there that think and feel the way Jimmy does about their failed party which is why I believe Trump wins handily in November.

Every election has surprises.

For example, last year's surprise was that even though Hilary was heavily favored to win the swing states of WI, NC, FL, PA, MI, and OH, Trump instead won them all and ended up in the White House.

I think it's entirely possible that in the wake of the bungling and mismanagement of the BLM rioting that Oregon and Minnesota turn red this year. New York might be a tight race this year given Cuomo's shenanigans but it will likely go blue regardless. California will also be a tighter race than in previous years, but ultimately still go blue. Illinois will be as close as Michigan was last year where the result was determined by a margin of 0.3% .

A surprise to me would be if any of Dougie Downer's predictions came true...

I predict this election will look a lot like the 1984 Regan vs Mondale election.

Everything you've written is of legitimate concern...seems almost impossible to fight it off especially when it seems that those that would fight against it remain so calm and quiet.

To me this is analogous to a family...dad, mom and the kids. Dad is a Republican, mom is a Democrat and the kids are us...the US population. Things aren't going well in the marriage. One spouse is calm and rational and the other is highly emotional and prone to fits.

Things are tumultuous and have been for a long time...fights and arguments and mom usually gets her way because dad decided it's not worth the knock down drag out. Lately she's been freaking out and throwing dishes at the wall. But eventually it comes to a head and dad isn't putting up with it anymore...it's divorce time. That's it...done.

We're heading for divorce. The two parties have separated so far they can't even live in the same house...it started 20 years ago, really. The Dem party is destroying itself and what takes it's place remains to be seen.

Yep...dad is whistling past the graveyard, alright. But the graveyard that mom built is an ugly place...full of anger, rage, destruction, uncertainty. I think most of the kids will hang with dad as they pass it by.
