If people are still going to jail and being held accountable in the highest levels of leadership and government, it's a good sign that the judicial system isn't corrupt. It's a comforting sign that justice can still be served, people can still be held accountable, and hope is alive.
Just look at those years where nobody dared to prosecute anybody. If you think nobody did anything wrong in that period, you are too far gone.
