Should be a familiar site to many of you.
I wish it was familiar! Looks like the area near the Paria River Movie Set.
Definitely familiar, but can't place it right now... Near Bryce?

[QUOTE=Glenn;546637]I'm only making one more guess: the painted hills east of House Rock Valley Road, about 2
Thought I'd try a twist and post a video. Someone's bound to get this; I haven't seen enough of Utah to surprise anyone!

Paria River south of 89 a few miles?
Wahweap Wash?
You got it. :2thumbs:
This was along the west bank while heading north to the hoodoos. The last few seconds of the video shows the view south towards the trailhead almost two miles away.
I bet with all the rains and flash flooding this summer, the wash looks nothing like this! I'll have to re-visit and see.
You're up!
This one may be recognizable?
Looks like you guys are standing just South of Mt. Kinesava.
Close enough Kurt! Actually a bit east and south. At the summit of the "Cowboy Ridge" after a wonderful climb with a great friend "Lyle". Lyle was killed 1 year ago on saturday the 26th after falling 40' and hitting a ledge of the 5th pitch of NE Buttress on Angels Landing. I was fortunate to have him as a friend and climbing partner for the last 15 years.

Not sure... but looks a little like Pocket Bridge? North Fork Mill Creek area?
Yes it is Pocket Bridge above Nrth Fork Mill Creek, you're up! :2thumbs:
How about one with a little international flavor? Hopefully some of our climbers will recognize this... there's some awesome routes next to the waterfall, and all along the scarp face. Unfortunately I wasn't able to do any climbing when I was there this past spring.

For scale, the falls are about 230' high.

I had to lots of Internet-sleuthing for this one. Probably a place I'll never get to visit, but saw a couple of cool vids once I found it.
<<edit...I didn't see Bootboy's post. I was going back and forth posting this and lost track.>>
Oh yeah... Give me a minute to find a good one.

Tell me the peak it was taken from AND the peak in the distance.
Mt. St. Helens looking north toward Rainier.
Nope and nope
Right mountain range though
Hood to Adams. Missed Laurance Lake in the foreground.
You got half of it right. Clue: this was taken in the AM.
Hood to Jefferson. Trillium and Timothy in the foreground. I guess that doesn't look quite orange enough for PM.
Word. You're up
