Yesterday, in response to an article about the hurricane in the gulf, and how Biden and Harris were working on helping the victims of the storm, I made the comment that I hope they aren't planning on evacuating anyone, because they've proven that evacuations aren't their thing. This was followed up by a leftist standing up for Biden and his moves, saying that it was past time to pull out of Afg, and how we shouldn't be there, and asking me how much longer I think American troops should remain there.
I replied with saying that they were doing the same thing that Biden was doing - answering the wrong question. The question isn't - Is it time to remove US presence in Afg, but the question is- was the method and manner in which the evacuation was executed the correct way.
Leftist went on to praise Biden and the 'success' of evacuating 100,000 people so far, and they are basically done with all that is needed for evacuations. :roflol::roflol::roflol:
After several back and forth responses with this leftist, they told me to get with reality, and see what is real, and that the same military heads telling Biden what to do are the same ones telling Trump not to stage a coup back in January.
Then I saw this meme this morning, and it perfectly summed up the entire convo:
