Note: Probably like you, I read the RD as a kid from my grandma's and mom's hand me down copies. I loved its emphasis on sweet, traditional, middle American values and stories. So I subscribed in some $2/yr deal about 2 years ago. Needless to say, it was unrecognizable. Pushing LGBT stories and racial disharmony and the beauty of government programs and such. So sad.

We might need to add Mike Lee to the useless senator list along with Romney. I've always had a hard time with his constant pushes to ease immigration rules to get more foreign workers in. He sure seems like a corporate, establishment Repub on those issues. Add now his siding with the Dems on this Iran war powers vote because he's mad about a briefing. Very McCain like in his personal spite dictating a vote.
