^^ Ha. If this doesn't exemplify the change in culture. In my childhood home, we had railroad ties for driveway material. Quite the unique setup. That wood back in the day was heavily soaked in creosote (or some nasty preservative). So we did pour our used oil into the ties and soil to help. Probably would have neighbors calling the enviro police today.
