Guess I will go read some more... try a different recipe for this cocktail. I am trying to recreate the one I had at Christof's the other night. Mmm that was so delicious.
Thinking really, really hard about higher education. I'm seriously considering taking some university courses. Been scanning the local university's calendar, and trying to figure out stuff like how an old fart like me can apply, what sort of course load would work for me, and what sort of degree and courses I'd be interested in.
I took about a year of community college after high school, in general useless artsy-fartsy/science stuff then gave up and moved on. Later I did my Air Traffic Control training, which was like a super-concentrated post-secondary experience. 25 years after leaving college, I have a real interest in learning - which is a great motivator.
Considering a BSc program, in Biology, and possibly specializing in evolutionary biology, cell biology, developmental biology, or something else that may jump out and nab me on my way by. Of course, that's all subject to change - but this is what's interesting me right now.
*sigh* Really got the bug. I'll give the Recruitment and Advisors office a call this week, and see what they have to say...
Good for you Kevin. Have fun!
I just finished laying out some gear & lunch. I'm going to be sick for work tomorrow and go hiking. :haha:
I'm up, about to start my morning workout - then it's back to work after almost 2 weeks of vacation! :eek2:
Well Kev part of my job at WSU is as an advisor so I say "What is holding you back? Get on it, call and report back to us!"Quote:

They know this winter if I don't show up in the morning and they really need me they should come find me on the other side of the mountain. But to mostly to be patient I will roll in around noon happy as a clam and ready to work. I usually save my days off for winter but today is an exception.
I am just calling today a sick day. I have so many days sick, so many days vacation and so many days of personal. I can use them how I need to. They are pretty awesome. I love my job.
I feel for ya  :nod:Quote:

I am awake. Barely. Still have a stupid head cold that won't go away. But it's not holding me back from the gym and unfortunately work. I'm one of those that spread the cooties mostly b/c it's more of a pain for me NOT to go into work. :haha:
DITTO  :frustrated:Quote:

I so wish I was still in bed right now.
