Biden told US Commanders Not to Send Out Troops to Rescue Americans Trapped in Kabul Because He feared a ‘Black Hawk Down’ Moment — It Would Make Him Look Bad
Joe Biden told military officials he was reluctant to deploy US forces outside the Kabul airport perimeter over fears of a Black Hawk Down-style tragedy.
In a video conference last week, the president also negatively commented on how quickly the Afghan government fell apart and told commanders he wanted them to be focused on beefing up security at the airport.
During the call, the president alluded to the ‘Black Hawk Down’ tragedy of the Somali Civil War, which saw 18 US personnel killed.

I'd vote for Jocko.
It’s only going to get worse, before it gets any better.

Biden now has another choice to make. He said there would be severe consequences for attacks on US troops. What will he do about it?
I could not agree more....
"Mr. President, fix the mess you created. Stop running from it. We are still at war. You didn’t ‘end the war,’ you just gave the enemy new advantage. Go on offense, establish superiority, and don’t leave until all our citizens and allies are safe," Rep. Dan Crenshaw
Remember when Mittens tripped over himself running to the press to condemn and impeach Trump over a perfectly fine phone call? And then again after giving a speech in which he started very clearly: Peacefully and patriotically march....?
Still waiting for any message coming from him to condemn Biden for this :topes:
Does this count? (NOT siding with Mitt just reporting what he has said)

”To leave before we get our Americans out and our partners in Afghanistan out is hard to contemplate and hard to square with what we are as a nation”. Can he sugar coat any more than that?
Sure, he’s remorseful of the situation, and says the administration hasn’t handled it correctly. But, I don’t see him putting any accountability squarely on Creepy Joe and calling him out for this. A where is he putting the claim of the blood of soldiers on the hands on Biden? Where is he putting the responsibility of Biden to get the Am citizens out safely? You know if this mess was happen under Trumps watch, he would have been leading the charge in front of Pelosi to impeach. Again.
I also wish Romney would have been more direct. I cannot think of a bigger military screw-up in my life time, and my life time goes back to near the beginning of the Vietnam war.
My fear is that this will get much worse. What if they fire off a few RPG's at a plane taking off? Hundreds dead. This is such a disaster of epic proportion. The media is fueling the terrorist fire with all the coverage and our impotence is disgusting and an embarrassment.
I'm not the best war historian BUT when was the last time the fleeing army asked the victors for assistance?
We are 100% dependent on the nice tollybon guys to help us evacuate.

Here is what our Commander in Chief just said..... shifting blame to Trump.
“But here’s the deal: You know, I wish you — you know as well as I do that the former president made a deal with the Taliban” Biden said.
He did talk tough saying he would hunt the bad guys down and that the military would make a plan to take out assets of ISIS. Too little, too late, Mr. President. Even Yahoo called the attacks "devastating". I'm not sure I have ever been more angry and frustrated at a sitting president of the United Stated before.

The level of incompetence just keeps getting worse with every report.

By the way, I keep going to liberal "Yahoo" for the news knowing full well that it is worse than reported.
