I read Cadillac Desert a few years ago and did not know there was a PBS 4 part. Thanks for the YouTube link. That was great watching. It was weird to see Floyd Dominy interviewed claiming he was the Mesiah, the Evangelist, the Crusader.

I think the tamarisks are native to that part of the world. Loss of habitat, fragmentation of habitat, and invasive species. These are, in this order, our problem. Peace, Kelley
