Me and Mrs. Cratchit last night, backstage at "A Christmas Carol" at the Hale Center Theater Orem. I've never tried to grow out a beard before, just a half-hearted attempt at a goatee so, this is the longest it's ever been. Can't decide whether to keep it for the winter months or not.

From this weekend. We hiked the entire ~11 mile loop Devil's Playground in Arches NP. That was one awesome trail. Lots of rock to climb, some elevation gain, some sand. We're tired now, but we had a great time!

Nice photo. :2thumbs: It sure is a great trail isn't it? I have been taking my kids on that loop (Devils Garden/Primitive Loop) ever since they were four years old and it always brings back memories. Ironically, we have never done it when it's dry like that, but only when it is covered in snow and ice.

The kids have tired of the trail (for now at least), but I never do since it has such great continuous scenery. I have been doing that loop since I was at least five, so it has been 36 years now! My dad still does that trail now that he is in his mid-70's. Last time the steep pitch was covered is wet sand and ice, so we tied all our jackets together to help him up.

We had all already hiked to Delicate Arch that same day, so it made a great day. My Grandmother and Grandfather hiked that same loop into their 80's and I hope I'm still doing the same.
Great place and trail! :2thumbs:
