The Sherrifs of six counties here in Colorado have already done it...they don't want to kick in the doors of someone that's been deemed "mentally ill" by the state to confiscate their guns. Probably because half the hillbillies out there are already nuts.

OK...so they've now banned all "Military Style Assault Weapons" in New Zealand, along with magazines and any parts to covet a firearm to semi auto. Looks like the shooter got exactly what he wanted...socialism.
Yep...blame the gun. This will just make it all the more easier for guys like him to operate without resistance.
I saw a screen shot from the video he made...all those people lying on the floor, cowering in fear and hoping not to get shot. Too bad they didn't have somebody there to shoot the SOB as soon as he stepped into the door. I'll never understand how they'll leave the door to the chicken coop wide open and then get pissed at the fox for helping itself.
