OK...that's enough for today.
Who gave Byron the knowledge to post vid links? It's like letting the bomb's secrets go to Pakistan.
Ha! I had the day off and spent it super cleaning my house and vehicles. Had the music playing all day on shuffle with my favorites playlist, so I couldn't help but throw down a few nuggets as they came up.
I won't make a regular habit of this, but then again, I might.
I'm a huge prog rock fan, but I never really got into Yes...their music always sounded like Disneyland on Parade to me...a bit too noodely...along with Jon Anderson's voice being to shrill to my ears. However, I own two Yes albums...Relayer and Drama.
I like Relayer primarily because Anderson does so little singing on it. Drama is great because Anderson is nowhere to be found. Here's a great song from Drama...probably the last great Prog/Rock album of the era, along with Moving Pictures, of course.

I like the album Talk. I love this song too.

I remember when that album came out, it was such a drastic change in sound compared to their earlier works. Gone was the super technical playing. There were at least 3 huge hit songs on that album. Lots of people loved it...longtime Yes fans that I knew, not so much.
Ah, yes...Dokken. Here's my favorite song form what is certainly their best album "Tooth and Nail"...

I’ve been in a big 80’s hair metal phase lately.
Ozzy never gets old. One of my favorite bands...

Hahaha... I never left that phase. I've seen every 80's band that was anybody at least once in concert.
I saw Dokken just before Covid-19 hit. Unfortunately the lead singer can no longer hit the notes.
I also saw Slaughter, Loverboy and Lita Ford in 2020 before Covid... all were awesome... no concerts is killing the hot young stripper wife.
We had tickets to Vince Neil, Skid Row and Buckcherry and they were all canceled.
Some of the hair metal of the 80s was great, some was pretty cheesy. I really liked the synth pop of the era. So did the girls.
