So in 15 weeks I will have worked one full year as Med Tech, that is what I received my degree in. Then I can feel like I at least used my degree for its intended purpose.Quote:

Visiting my son in the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at LDS Hospital. He's on day 2 of a month long stay. We're just waiting around in his room for the evening chemo round to arrive.
Yes, we will be watching American Idol also!!!!!
Oh man. This sounds really tough for all of you. Keep your spirits up, and know that prayers are coming your way. Hope your son manages OK, and will be on his way to recovery soon.Quote:

TS,
I was focused on my post and didn't read yours. A good friend of mine went through the same thing a few years ago with his little daughter. Wish there was something I could say to make it easier. I hope everything goes well with the treatments.
Wow, this is rough. I remember the clean bill of health he got in the spring, and how quickly it came back. We're all thinking of you, and hoping for the best for your whole family. Keep us posted!Quote:

Hang in there tallsteve!
Stuck in a Video Teleconference meeting originating on the east coast. They just put up an agenda slide showing a 1300-1500 schedule. Suck. I'm hungry and lunch just got boned.
My first Bogley post via Blackberry!
Getting ready to make a nacho and slurpee run...extra chili. :lol8:
Wishing I could smoke a cigarette (yuk i know). Being stressed (I could lose my job). Being confused (Wolfcreek threw me thru a loop). Hungry for something fattening (nachos like Acca). Attempting to get my ass to bed (b/c of stress).
And I thought I had something to worry about!!! I really hope your son does well with all of this and you find the support you need from your loved ones. I can't even imagine having a child in this position. Hang in there and keep us posted on his progress!!Quote:

btw, what's going on at work?
There is a big differance between what I am doing and what I should be doing. I'm supposed to be moving my entire weekend. What am I actualy doing might you ask? Sitting on my couch thinking about how much I don't wanna move.
Day off. Doing laundry. Tackling the Christmas tree (finally), picked up the house, ate a teriyaki rice bowl, about to get the grocery shopping done so I can enjoy my weekend. It's a blue sky weekend here. Have planned a nice easy local hike tomorrow and an all day back country hike on Sunday. WOO HOO!! All this hiking means I can eat what I want this weekend. HAHA!! :lol8:
Wow - my first friday off for weeks. Headed out today on the biketrail to shoot some more video...phone rang...customers wanted to know when I would be open...told them I was out shooting video on the trail & would be back soon. Half hour later they showed up on the trail down below me... KIDS :haha:
...I grilled kielbasa and sweet onions out on the patio for dinner.....YUM
Sitting inside my RV (furnace is on). I just finished hooking up a satellite dish (purchased on eBay), wanting desperately to get away from this smog and cold temps!
Oh, sipping a bit of Seagram's 7 and Diet coke.
Incidentally, the Dish (with a DVR receiver purchased on eBay) will be used when camping to pick up Sat. TV!!!!)
Does camping with sat TV count as camping? :ne_nau:Quote:

I am sitting here thinking about going to bed......the few beers are catching up to me. :haha:
Me too :haha: The only difference I don't have to get up in the morning, that is very comforting :haha:Quote:

YAY Kapitan! How was that touch of lime? I love the little tartness it gives the vodka/cran. So yes my cat wouldn't let me sleep this morning either. She sat on top of me and licked my face b/c her food bowl was empty. Problem is that it was 5 am. Damn cat! Ok so I am up, drinking coffee, Camelback is loaded........about to get moving to go do a good hike with the goils today. We may end the hike with brunch and Mimosas.....FUN FUN! :2thumbs:
Ahh, one more day of sun and then a brief return to the cold :frustrated:
Trying to wake myself up. Going to turn some miles on my motorcycle out in the desert this afternoon.
Resting after a full day of RC rockcrawling competition in the morning in RockSprings with Fourtycal and my young(ish) son and then MTBing in the afternoon shooting more video footage with Fourtycal.....WHEW - long fun day! :2thumbs:
Touch of lime was magical :2thumbs: Now I'm making home made pizza, dough included :haha: Will post later :2thumbs:Quote:

We had a few mimosas after our adventure and I am just sooooooooo relaxed right now. Hubby and I may go over to the vapor caves to soak in the mineral bathes tonight. :2thumbs:
I crashed out so early last night! And I am up a little bit early but it's ok because I am about to have to get moving. Going to meet up with a friend to hike Williams Peak this morning. It's a gorgeous blue sky day again and it means I have to go play in it. :2thumbs: I'll drop my oldest off at the mountain so he and his friend can go ski/board all day as well. So now I have to figure out what to make for breakfast. Blueberry pancakes? Or Eggs? Or both? :haha: :haha:
