There is a Funny Picture thread in the Rubbish Bin, filled with racist, ugly, derogatory, Obama-bashing, Muslim-bashing, blasphemy, gay-bashing (lots of gay-bashing), misogynistic (lots of misogynistic) "humor", some of which is actually funny. There are basically no rules there. It's a great place, I look at it every day.
This thread is a Funny Picture Thread in the GENERAL section. It is for clean stuff. It's meant to be Safe For Work, even Puritanical work environments where some of the members of the forum work.
I'm not attempting to censor (by my enormous charm) your ability to post whatever misogynist racist expletive-filled rubbish that somehow provokes your un-socialized funny bone to Bogley; I am merely suggesting that rubbish should be put in the rubbish bin.
Perhaps you think my definition of rubbish is too wide. May I suggest in a public forum, in the General Section, that a wide definition of "rubbish" should be applied, rather than a narrow definition. Especially since that same public forum has a rubbish bin section that is completely free of rules... well, child-porn would probably be considered beyond the pale... and snuff-films...
