Here's one of Trump's latest Tweets and I agree with him (though the 7 trillion figure seems a bit high):

FWIW - The $7 trillion number comes from what has already been spent on the war on terror and what will be spent in the future. It is a realistic high end estimate but does include the cost of homeland security.
That's if you were at all interested in where the number comes from. I believe the US has spent about $2.5 trillion on the Iraq and Afghan wars combined to date. Some future costs like care for wounded veterans needs to be included.
I thought he might have counted every nickel since the Crusades.
Truth. Lots of fun stuff on this one: http://www.usdebtclock.org/

It's a done deal: Congress wraps up massive tax package

Say what you will about Trump (Lord knows I have), but this is a massive accomplishment for Trump and the GOP. Even if you think the new tax code is a massive giveaway to the rich, you have to admit it's going to look real good to his base. Who knows what it will do long term to the national debt, but will probably spur on the economy for a few years anyway.
Based on the online calculators I can find, I will save between $8,000 and $10,000 next year. Not a windfall by any stretch but I will take it.
This is what MAGA looks like..

I don't think that anyone in either party is worried about the national debt anymore. They should be.It's to the point now that it will never be paid back. It's not even possible anymore. In fact, if there is anything that is going to bring the USA to its knees, I'm betting the crippling amount of debt that we have is what does it. You can't possibly borrow money like that and get ahead in any real way.
Fortunately, the government doesn't function like the rest of us. We'd already be wearing concrete shoes at the bottom of a nearby body of water if we owed people that much money and didn't pay up. It's insane.
As far as the tax bill goes, simply lowering the corporate rate will free up more cash for hiring new people and creating jobs than anything else would. That's awesome. I'm betting tax revenue goes up because of all the extra people in the workforce because of that alone. I say bravo.
The Democrats are insane. You would think they would get on board with this thing and try to salvage what's left of their party. Oh that's right...their party doesn't exist outside the liberal mass media. Check out Savannah Guthrie freaking out on Paul Ryan this morning. For crying' out loud.
Before the election, I would have never imagined that the liberal power brokers would end up being such foolish buffoons. They won't be able to sell another Obama. What an amazing turn of events...I'm thrilled, quite frankly.
Soo nice to get rid of the likes of bicycle boy and pajama boy and have able bodied Americans running the show.
And the hits keep coming...MAGA
