I was holding out for 10...almost got there. I may just go ahead and cash in. I bought very low in March.
You made a prediction about this stock about a month ago...I didn't "listen", but I did. Been keeping a sharper eye on it...figured it would roll over 10 because I know for a fact that they're selling heavy duty trucks like hotcakes and they've got lots of new models coming out.
Invest in China, they are brilliant. They bought the US for a paltry $1 Billion loan to Hunter.

I just bought a sizeable amount of MVIS under 5.20
I've been trading this 100's of times from .24
Still holding a few Ford stocks--would buy more if it hits 8.20ish

No big dollar amounts as I need to learn the game a more first, but I was able to buy HSDT at about $18, sold it all at $30, bought again at $19 and sold it all again at $22. Started at $1,000 and finished at $1,900. Not a bad day considering I was at work. I can see where this would be addicting, especially at real dollar amounts.
You're a cautious guy, and so am I. I started out with just a few thousand bucks at a time about 11 years ago and now it's moved up to tens of thousands at a time. I haven't got the time nor the inclination to do it like Kurt and some of the other boys, so I just buy good stock on the lows, sell it all and take the profit...and the tax hit, in some cases.Quote:

Yep you've got it down. I've got multiple longer term accounts that I never touch, but it's pretty fun to have a daily trading account that can generate some quick money for gas and bullets.Quote:

What do you guys think about BBBY and AMC? I am up about 50% in BBBY and 100% in AMC. Just trying to decide when to cut and run on them.

When a video game store is valued over Apple, Inc. you know there's something wrong. I think once the speculative blush fades it will come crashing back to earth, and wo unto those who are still holding it. If you're up 50% and 100% in anything I'd take profits now and reinvest. But that's just me -- I like to have my money today. Plus you never know when that big market correction is gonna happen -- it could be any day now since the market is getting overvalued.

You know what is fun though? Putting $4k in AMC on Friday at $3.21 and waking up this morning to see it over $15. I think I’m going to sell most of it, but I still wonder if it will continue to blow up.
If you ever wondered if the system was rigged, today answered that question. I think Robinhood just dug their own grave this morning.
I am glad I pulled out of AMC yesterday at $17, but I sure would have jumped back in this morning when it was under $8. Sadly those swine at Robinhood pulled the plug on the good times. I guess it is time for me to move to a big boy brokerage. Who do you guys use?

I use TD Ameritrade. I believe Oldno7 also uses TD regularly. It's a very good platform -- the instructional tools are great and customer service is also responsive and helpful.
I use Charles Schwab, mostly because I've had an account there for 40 years and I've been grandfathered in on some deals you can't touch these days.
If I was starting over again I'd have to shop around to see who best meets me needs at what cost.
