Why are the Dems fine with super delegates, but so against the electoral college? :ne_nau:
bloomberg, winning the rust belt and flyover country...
“I could teach anybody, even the people in this room” to be a farmer, he said, calling agriculture “a process.”
“You dig a hole, you put a seed in, you put dirt on top, add water, up comes the corn,” he said.
He spoke similarly of factory jobs as mechanical repetition requiring no brain power.
“You put the piece of metal in the lathe, you turn the crank in the direction of the arrow, and you can have a job,” he continued.

Did Bidens team leave him and go join the Bloomberg team? He has been making some gaffes recently that only Creepy Joe would be proud of.
Sounds like he’s really going after the senior vote here.

Will the response ‘learn to farm’ replace ‘learn to code’ when leftist journalists are laid off?:ne_nau:

These aren't Bloomberg gaffes as much as they're the thinking of an ultra elitist. Tucker's comments were spot on about this, as usual.

"Without even pausing,*Bloomberg grovels... and attacks his own legacy. Why do you do that? Because, he doesn't care. Whatever, they're only words," Carlson said. "He'll do whatever it takes. Now, they say politicians are ethically flexible. Of course they are, but this is different. There's something ominous about it."
"Bloomberg can seamlessly change his core beliefs because he doesn't think his beliefs are relevant to the outcome of this race," Carlson added. "Only his wealth matters."

So Bloomberg qualified for the Wed debate stage in Nevada. He can't hide behind TV ads anymore. He's a dull, unlikable personality. We'll see how that goes over on live TV.

538's latest odds...
I heard a conservative talking head muse that Michelle Obama might emerge as the brokered nominee.
I think that's possible, though I'm sticking with Klobuchar being the brokered pick.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...327eec2c35.jpg
If you want real odds here is the current Vegas betting line... these are the guys actually putting their money where their mouth is and have no political bias... They pretty much have Bernie signed sealed and delivered....
To read the odds a +110 means if you bet $100 you will make a $110 profit (collect $210 at the window. Your bet plus your profit).
Just as I have.... Vegas has written Biden off as a $100 bet wins you $1000 profit. Warren is also in free fall...
Vegas thinks is going to be Sanders against Bloomberg with Buttigieg as a dark horse. And I think they are pretty much spot on if we were voting today. Remember betting odds are a snapshot in time and are always changing. When you place a bet you get the odds posted at the time of your bet. If you had of bet $100 on Bernie last month your profit would have be $215 if he won.
Vegas doesn't give Klobuchar a snowballs chance in hell....
Vegas does have "Micheal" Obama on the board and you can bet on "it" to win. A $100 bet would win you $10,000.

^^^What this tells me is that it's going to be Bloomberg vs. Trump this Fall because I don't think there's any way this country will ever consider a blatant socialist for president...at least not now. Not to mention...the DNC will find a way to put a torpedo broadside to the S.S. Sanders in due time...just like they did in 2016.
Another indicator that points to Bloomberg is that Trump tweets about Bloomberg frequently. This means he's watching him closely, and plotting for the eventual showdown later this year.
I think Trump fears Bloomberg the most.... but I just don't see how the DNC will be able to screw Bernie out of the nomination again this year if he is still on top after Super Tuesday. if they do the Bernie Bros and liberal wing will burn the Democratic party to the ground.
Right now I'm just watching and curious to see how the DNC will try to screw Bernie.... because you just know they are going to try....
And I'm hoping like hell Bernie wins the Democratic nomination... as there is no way in hell this country will elect a socialist..... at least not for several more years....

The DNC has delegates and super delegates.... I believe their rules and voting power are different. I could be wrong.
I know super delegates don't come into play unless it goes to a second vote. It was the super delegates that hosed Bernie last time and why the rules were changed so they couldn't vote until round two.

I'm not able to watch the Dem debate tonight. But I did see a headline about Warren's attack on Bloomberg and NDAs with women. Bloomberg's response read bad in text. Awaiting @Iceaxe 's take on MB's performance and that specific interchange.
