That place looked so familiar.... however I haven't been there before. Makes me want to get back up to the Uintas this next year.

I think it's Hell Roaring Lake (Sawtooth Mountains), but it's been several years now so I am not 100% sure.
One thing I am 100% sure on is that that is the Finger of Fate in the background (upper right).
looking forward to @Scott P many options of pics to choose from
I'm leaving town so after this afternoon can't get back until tomorrow night, but here's my photo.
Pretty sure this is wrong, but the trail leading to the Moab Dinosaur trackway?
No. A few hundred miles from Moab.
red cliffs desert reserve SW Utah?
AZ Painted Desert area?
Topaz mountain
No to all of the above.
Hints to narrow it down: This one is actually along a popular trail within a national park. The feature where Kessler is walking is a well known and named feature (which is what I am looking for as an answer). In front of him (and out of sight) is a well-known cave.
I think I've got it- right outside of Mantle's Cave in Dinosaur National Monument.
Hundreds of miles from Dinosaur NM. It's actually in a national park and along a very popular trail.
I am looking for the name of the feature in the photo or the cave. If no one gets it, I guess the name of the trail will do, but it should be easy to guess after the trail is named.
Looks like Grand Canyon NP.
Yes, but be more specific.Quote:
Looks like Grand Canyon NP.

Reflection Lake ;-)
BTW a beautiful picture.:2thumbs:
Edit:
Never mind.
I'll set someone else guess.
I guess if no one else is going to guess, I could try and narrow it down.
Is it in the Uinta Mountains?
Kermsuh Lake?
Yes it is in the Uintas...... but it isn't Kermsuh Lake.
heres a view the other way

Uintah Lake?
That is one sexy lake. I think that area is at the top of my list for summer 2012 in the Uintas.
