So many great.... err... I mean... so many entertaining movies. Burt's movies were always fun.

He was a genius, period. That guy was straight up badass. Posed naked and mollywhopped his face over and over again with Loni Anderson's jugs. I'm surprised he lived this long...back in the 80s he broke his jaw so bad it nearly killed him.
I love his last words in Deliverance..."I don't remember a damn thing".
One last look........this was back when it was ok to still have man hair! :hail2thechief:

Haha! Just gotta firm up a little and you're damn near a spittin' image! Not bad.
If you had a little cigar in your mouth, you could be twins.
Burt sold a lot of Trans Am's for General Motors....
RIP Burt.

Coors Light was my beer of choice until I was about 45 and the micro brews began showing up.

Microsoft co-founder and professional sports teams owner Paul Allen has left the building at 65.
Wow... that is crooking young, the guy is only a few years older than me. It adds a lot to the old saying "if you have your health you have everything." Which is also what I thought when Larry H. Miller died. Their billions couldn't help them when the grim reaper came calling.
Paul Allen passing away is a big deal. That guy is under appreciated for his massive influence in the world. R.I.P. Mr Allen!
^^^ Much of my life was wrapped around Atari as well - in the form of Pac Man, Missile Command, Defender, etc, etc. :haha:
Breaking- multiple news agencies: Stan Lee. RIP.

41's death got me to thinking... "Read my lips, no new taxes" will be engraved on his headstone. It also cost him a second term.
42 - will have "I did not have sex with that woman" engraved oh his.
43 - "misunderestimated" will be engraved on his.
44 - will have "if you like your health plan, you can keep your health plan" engraved on his.
45 - ???yet to be determined???
^^^ "misunderestimated" :roflol:
He was famous for those little vocabulary gems. Some of them were moronic and others were genius. They were all comical.
One other quote that he might be known for is "mission accomplished."
H Dubya was a class act, much easier to see now that some years have passed.
I'm never sure how to rate that one. From a military standpoint it was mission accomplished as our military crushed the world's fourth largest army in a matter of weeks. What our military did in Iraq was truly amazing... Politically is were we really shit the bed as we had no clue what to do with the country once our military handed the management over to the politicians. YMMV

Penny Marshall, 'League of Their Own' director and TV's 'Laverne,' has left the building at 75.
Spent many evenings with the family sitting in front of the RCA console tv (we had to change the channel with pliers because the knob broke) watching Lavern and Shirley and Happy Days.

Here's a pic of a girlfriend of mine who has had the nickname Laverne since she was a teenager. She's 55 now. She kinda looks like a youngish Penny Marshall and is clumsy as hell. Kinda naive about things, too. Full on Laverne. When I heard Marshall died it kinda hurt a little bit.
Mean Gene and Bob Einstein. 2019 is waiting around to take a couple good ones.
So long Captain!
