Oh boy. I hope not, but who knows.
Here we go! Could we see an upset?
The NIU defense looks good. 3 and out for the Yewts.
My bold prediction is if the Utah defense doesn’t score or put the offense in the Red Zone, then Utah loses this game.
Walp, Gay's second missed field goal attempt this season and we're not even two full games in.
Utah off to another shitty start...
Not sure if I see 45 in the cards at this point.
Utah finally gets a break with an Illinois muffed field goal...
These fans must be thinking the Pac-12 sucks.
Utah looks terrible. Huntley looks shell shocked.
Likely hanging a donut at the half. When does Utah hire the next OC?
It’s Gay...
NIU pitching a shutout so far, not good.
Pathetic...
Utah Community College...
Meanwhile in Lincoln, Nebraska...Colorado takes down the Huskers.
The vaunted Lou Groza winner, Gay is now 0 - 2 on the night, and 1 - 4 so far this year. Scoreless at the half.
Utah sucks.
Huntley sucks.
The real Huskies come to town next week and will dismantle the Yewts.
Looks like NIU has defense or Utah has zero offense.
Getting to Huntley.
Here's my bold prediction:
UTAH LOSES THE NEXT THREE GAMES TO START THE SEASON 1 - 4.
They lose tonight.
They'll lose to Washington next week.
They can't beat Washington State on the road.
And they'll lose to Stanford on the road.
They'll finally get a win against Arizona in week 6.
"Most improved Utah team in ten years..." my ass.
I might have to switch to the USC vs Stanford game. This one is a sleeper.
Utah finally scores

What a bunch of pathetic losers.
The Offensive line had issues last week and they look the same this week. Huntley certainly doesn’t look good, but they are not helping.
The defense is just spent and might not be able to hold on.
pic six for the win
sorry display
What did I say about the defense?
This offense is pathetic.
Utah dodged a bullet, with that pic 6 they may have lost.

Chase should get the game ball

Better to be 2-0 than to be 0-2... that is all....
They dodged a bullet tonight, but Washington will decimate the Utes next week.
And to top it off, Moss is now playing injured.
Good luck. Predictions?

Washington 24
Utah 13
Utah occasionally plays up for a big game.
Utah--21
Washington 17
It's not looking good.
Washington has an unstoppable one-two punch in QB Jake Browning and RB Miles Gaskin. Utah has been unable to stop (or even slow down) either of those two players in the last 3 years. You might recall last season when Gaskin rolled over Utah's vaunted defense for 166 yards + 3 touchdowns.
Top this off with the following not-so-great news:
1. Moss is injured (he was limping around at the end of last week's game).
2. Coach Peterson
3. Utah has committed 6 turnovers in only two games against shitty teams.
4. Huntley is not as new and improved as the hype claims.
5. Washington has won 10 out of 11 of their meetings all time, so you know that is going to be a big mental block for Utah.
6. Coach Peterson
7. Utah has no offensive line. In last week's contest against a shitty MAC team, the Utes allowed 14 tackles for loss, and Huntley was sacked 6 times. Again -- that was from a shitty MAC team -- what happens when they play someone really, really good....like Washington?
8. Moss only managed 66 yards on the ground. He should have raped NIU, but instead he turned in a mediocre performance and got injured in the process.
9. Utah's special teams is on life support. Between botched punts, and muffed FGs, they are not the usually stellar special teams we're used to seeing.
10. Matt Gay is 1 - 4 on field goals....against crappy teams. WTH happened to him? He break up with his girlfriend or something?
11. Coach Peterson
In short, the Utes are about to get their rectums resized at least 10".
Here's a friendly article that sums it all up: https://www.si.com/college-football/...etting-preview
<sigh>
In yesterday's press conference, Kyle Whittingham announced that he's going to ensure that Utah's offense is mostly one-dimensional on Saturday against Washington:

No, Kyle...you need to open the playbook and run some something different and unpredictable...for once. Moss run left, Moss run right, Moss up the middle (maybe) is old and tired and it's easy for just about any team to figure out and prepare for what to do to stop Utah. Here's a handy dandy formula that just about every single team that plays Utah does when preparing to play the Utes:
Stop Moss = Stop Utah
We don't need more Moss. We need more of the rest of the team. Mix in some Mariner and Covey...or something. The Utes have such a talented squad, it just baffles me why the coaches don't utilize them more effectively.
Yeah baby, I was listening to the press conference and thinking that's exactly what Utah needs, more Moss!

That may have been a curve ball by Kyle. He’s not going to tip off UW.
