And the Brady-Welker combo goes down! I knew it couldn't last. Now there are no undefeated teams in our league.
BAAAAAM Thanks Alex smith...and of course I benched rothkesbutthole too
The 49ers look damn good. It's amazing what good coaching will do for a team.
The BYE weeks should start to shake things up a bunch.....
162 last week and 75 this week. :ne_nau: 2-3 and in the top 3 in scoring...now a big bye week. :facepalm1:
yeah... i clearly don't understand the nuances of FF. i give props to the guys who can figure the patterns and what not. i actually like my players, figure they are pretty decent. but i think i've only scored 100 points once this whole season, and unfortunately i've only been on the grid for one sunday this season, so i never get to see what's actually happening on the field. in other words, i suck! :lol8:
I hear ya. I did a re-build after week 2 and have gone on a winning streak. Mostly I think it's because teams with high scores seem to score low while playing me! Lucky ME! Now I have major bye issues this week and next.....Will likely lose one or both of those weeks.
Looks like we have a couple managers asleep at the switch this week...
Hindsite is 20/20. I probably should have picked him back up earlier but I they said he was going to be out 6-8 weeks. Then he was coming back to the Giants, the titans, and vikings and a bye. SO.....I figured he was a lost cause. He has been hot the past couple of games but yesterdays game is a perfect example of why I dropped him. Too hit or miss for me, I'd rather have a guy that gets 10 points a week no matter what than a guy that gets 5 one week and 20 the next.
My loss is your gain. I'll trade ya Green-Ellis for Colston......It's a hell of a deal!
ha. noone produced yesterday on the saints. they choked on some donkey balls. only reason moore had decent numbers is the last ditch drive after the game was already WAY over.... colston is the top WR on that team. thanks for dropping him.
you though are definitely the luckiest SOB in our league. how you have only lost 1 game is beyond me. you by far have the lowest points scored against you out of everyone. everyone seems to have a down week against you. crazy!
if it wasn't for you and that cheap-ass trade for aaron rodgers to start the season, you'd be worse off than me. :haha:
x2
It will pretty much even out by years end... it always does.
Rexy made the dumbest trade in the history of Bogley FF!!!
FWIW: Storm is looking for a RB. She has the number 3 and number 6 scoring QB's in the league as trade bait.
Colston is all right but I already have two WR's better than Colston.
I'm with you on the lucky part. I seem to be able to squeak by each week. It's my crazy good management skills! I spend A LOT of time looking at matchups and waiver wire pick-ups. Seems to be working so far.
The Aaron Rodgers trade was legit! Rex came to me literally begging for a trade. He was convinced that Rodgers would start hot and then fail and he totally bought into the whole dream team eagles thing. I almost didn't make the trade after listening to him go on and on about how Vick was going to be so HOT down the stretch. Turns out he was wrong! Although last night Vick did begin to show what Rex was talking about.
And the strippers fall from the top has begun. :bootyshake:
Dropping like a rock..... :kicknuts:
My players tried to give it away...bloody hell! :facepalm1:
Rivers is having a terrible year. He throws two INT's and then fumbles it. Costing his team the game. Then McCluster fumbles too. :facepalm1:
Luckily they both turned it around and put up decent numbers.
My team is completely anemic. I swear my fantasy team is a curse to all players in real life. Once they end up on my roster their real life performance drops like a rock.
Take for example the NFL's most vaunted and highest paid running back: Chris Johnson. Last season he ran riot. Now that he's on my team this season he's a limp-wristed chump who can hardly get 20 yards rushing on a good day, and he's only scored one TD all season.
And then there's Mr. Andre Johnson who is a monster WR, but this season he's been nursing a hamstring injury for going on 7 weeks.
And every time I pick up a new backup RB or WR to fill in for an injured starter, they either end up with hardly any yardage and a bagfull of fumbles or no yardage at all.
I'm completely cursed...there's no other explanation. :ne_nau:
:haha:
I am enjoying my 4 game winning streak. Next up a SlugFest with Mr. Iceaxe. :stud:
I loved when Mike Wallace 'intercepted' a pass that looked to be intended for his teammate and my opponent's Antonio Brown in the end zone Sunday night :D
i'm on a 4 game win streak, after hitting the waiver wire hard. picked up demarco murray and laurent robinson, who have finally given me some serious production. if run dmc gets healthy, i'll be in good shape. thinking it's a real long shot to get to the playoffs still though. probably need to win out, or close to it.
i definitely need a tight end who can play though... anyone looking to trade?
I moved up two positions and into the playoffs! 5 Game winning streak baby! :stud:
Get out of the way Ice and Strippers. :roflol:
Anyone else concerned about Dan's rise from the bottom? Freaking Foster, Murray, Fitzgerald, and Colston. Damn the day I dropped Colston. WTF was I thinking? In any case I think the odds are pretty good that there's a chance he'll get in to the playoffs. Thank heavens I'm a few games ahead of him 'cause I think that may be the only thing that saves me........maybe.....
ha. i still think it's a stretch. i play scott this week, and colston and foster are on a bye. plus another game against the nerrrds. probably too late. the real shame is that i was off the grid the first two weeks of the season, and missed what should've been an easy game to win in week 1, when the auto-start placed kaeding and foster in my starting lineup, when they were clearly on the IR. oh well. not to mention the game i lost to you by two freakin points... took me a few weeks to realize points were being scored for PPR and return yards too. :facepalm1:
oh well, it has restored my interest in the NFL :2thumbs:
looks like run dmc is out again this week, and guess who has michael bush? ha! the run had to end sometime. if mcfadden was playing, i'd have a chance. wouldn't bet on it now.
Gosh... I looked at my team Thuesday and noticed I had 3 players on my rooster who are out for the year. I've been too busy with work to do a good job of managing my team the last couple of weeks and it shows.... I'm falling into the grasps of the bottom feeders.... But I'm about to unleash my mad FF skillz and make one last ditch run at the playoffs....
Well - you're playing me this week, so you're guaranteed a win.
****in' Chris Johnson...a paltry 13 yards rushing...hell Hasselbeck rushed for more than he did. If I were Titan's upper management I'd be ashamed and embarrassed to disclose the amount of cash they're throwing at him.
My team is full of under-performing asshats.
My stud TE had a BYE and somebody helped me out by dropping Winslow. :haha:
winslow has been a deadbeat all season... just happens you pick him up the week i play you, and he GOES off. i was off the grid since thursday, and didn't get to check back on stafford and his finger injury. he scores 37 while on my bench since i wasn't sure on thursday what his situation would be. :facepalm1:
you also have bush, and i have mcfadden. foster and colston also on bye. this was not my week...
Yeah, just a funny circumstance. I left a couple guys on the bench that had good games and the guys I started in their place (who are usually good) got shut down. Good times...
I HATE THAT!!!
Another pet peeve of mine is when a RB is going off - just having a helluva good run - so you start him just at the very time upper management decides to give a secondary RB a chance at some yardage, and sits your stud RB for no reason. That shit happens a lot nearing the playoffs - where coaches don't want to risk injuring a stud RB/WR going into the playoffs.
Drew Brees is about to get Ice a huge comeback win tonight (assuming they don't pull him) with 42 points through 3 quarters, congrats!
That 4th playoff spot is going to be a dog fight.
