Yup.... Jazz are sinking like a rock in the standings
Watching the Spazz right now. Playing ok...if they blow this one it will be a 4 game skid. If Agent Zero gets hot they're in trouble.
Unbelievable...Arenas just hit a 3 at the buzzer again!!! This one was against the JAZZ!!! Bloody HELL!! Dood ain't human! :eek2:
HA! HA! Four game losing streak.
....same old Jazz... :frustrated:
It was tied too. He didn't even need the 3. Another guy gets 50 plus on the Jazz. He just raised his hands in the air right after he let it go. He knew it was going in...
Shit even I knew it was going in when I saw him shoot it.....Thats just the kind of luck the Jazz have. Arenas is a hell of a player and deserves all the credit that game!!!!
Jazz got a very big win against one of the best teams in the eastern conf (Detroit). Hopefully things will turn around for the JAZZ and we can get on a winning streak for once this season
They played well and got lucky at the end.
I was sure they were going to lose last night.
3 in a row....lets keep the wins rolling JAZZ
should win our next 5 and then we play San Antonio
4 game winning streak.... I was hoping GARNETT would get pissed off last night and start throwing punches :haha: :haha:
OKUR has been playing real well of late and his 'money' 3-ball is dropping like its hot
It seems the JAZZ always lose to the worst teams... Its kinda hard to win when the other team makes 16 3-pointers
Boozer played really well before fouling out and Okur's 'money' ball gave us a chance, but we lost at the buzzer in OT
Guess I'll dredge up this post...

Start strong, beat a few good teams, get our hopes up, then lose to Minnesotta, Memphis, and a bunch of other shitty teams.
I thought they played well. Win some lose some. Boozer and Williams had a career night, Okur was da bomb and Kirilenko played well.
Cant be too upset with your team after last nights performance. Memphis was just on too.
I agree..... It's not that the JAZZ had a bad game, MEMPHIS just played very well and played like they wanted to win :ne_nau: :ne_nau:
I don't think that this is a 'midseason meltdown' at all, but we need to start winning the games we are suppose to win
The DENVER game tomorrow and the SAN ANTONIO game next Wednesday will be the real tests for us
I disagree. A little more than a week ago the Jazz were on a 4 game losing skid. And then yesterday they lose to the WORST TEAM IN THE NBA. Memphis has only won 2 OTHER GAMES on the road -- the entire season!!!
"Not winning games we are supposed to win" constitutes a meltdown when you hear that phrase 5 times in two weeks. Yesterday's debaucle at ES arena was deplorable. If I would've paid for a ticket to that game, I would've been pissed!! I would've launched my popcorn right at J Sloan's head!
Who was playing defense yesterday? Besides nobody...Typical Jazz fan will try and justify that one with "well, they just played better," or "well, everyone scored a lot of points (Boozer)," but none of that matters unless the collective efforts of the team result in a W.
When was the last time Dallas or Phoenix lost to the worst team in the NBA -- at home?
Well Dallas lost @ home vs Golden State 104-107 on Nov 6....... FYI :2thumbs:Quote:

At least they made up for Memphis by beating the Nuggets. Ok, they didn't completely make up for it, but this helps. I like Carmello's dribble off his foot at the end. What a douche.
The crowd went so wild when MELO dribbled the ball off his foot and when RONNIE BREWER stripped the ball away from him :nono: :nono: :nono:
BREWER really played a key role in that game after KIRILENKO went out with an ankle sprain
JAZZ really sucked in up against the HORNETS on saturday.... We had no one to score once BOOZER went out with a knee injury
Reports say BOOZER might be out 6 weeks :frustrated: :frustrated:
Thats the last thing we need right now is to lose our leading scorer and rebounder
What a disappointing loss last night for the JAZZ. Vince Carter hit a 35 foot 3-pointer at the buzzer to win and the crowd went so silent in shock.
Vince dominated the 2nd half of the game and the JAZZ just couldn't hold on to the lead.
The disappointing thing with BOOZER out is that we have no one that can post up inside. MILLSAP did a little bit, but never really drove it hard to the basket. OKUR should post up and drive to the hoop, but instead he sets screens up top and wants to shoot the 3-ball instead.
We need BOOZER back :hail2thechief: :hail2thechief:
Where did you get this info on Monday? They have been keeping this on the low down until today. Turns out you were right.Quote:

A guy at my work listens to KFAN and thats what they said on Monday.... I was hoping it wasn't true, but now we got to toughen up and play better
That sucks cause now he won't get voted into the ALL-STAR game
This BLOWS!!! :bash:
You wanna know what Blows? The JAZZ!!! How the hell do you beat San Antonio and lose to the Hornets? I don't think I will ever be a loyal Jazz fan until they get rid of that pompous ass pirate Sloan. What an excuse for a coach. :frustrated:
I thought they were going to blow it fer sure against the squirts. :ne_nau:
What is wrong with Sloan?? Over 1,000 career wins as an NBA coach....I just think the JAZZ' mentality differs when they play the NBA's elite teams from when they play the below .500 teamsQuote:

I was at the game last night and it was one of the best this year.... OKUR is always hitting huge shots and the crowd goes wild
Sloans 1000 game stats don't say crap about what kind of coach he is. The fact that he can never get his team past the second round of the playoffs (sometimes hardly the first without getting blown out) speaks VOLUMES about his competency as a coach.
1000 wins doesn't say anything??????? Sure says alot to me and the fact that he is only 1 of 5 coaches to reach over 1000 wins....He is a great coach  :nod:Quote:

I believe he is the only pro coach that has been with the same team more than 15+ seasons....... The JAZZ franchise must believe in him or else he wouldn't still be around
Boozer got voted in as one of the NBA all-star reserves even though he is injured. Reports say that he still might try to play in the game in 2 weeks, but I hope he won't risk his injury
But he definetely deserves to be an All-star :2thumbs:
Sloan- at times can make me a little peeved but over-all easily one of the best ever. What he does with what he has as far as players goes in very good. The players that have played for him and other coaches will tell you the same. Utah as a media market is what hurts us getting the big named players and personally I don't want to see an Iverson or an Anthony here.
I go to maybe 10 or so games a year and it's a working man's team and I like it. It's a long ride back to Cache Valley when we lose but I'm a Jazz fan. Hell I grew up on Lake Eire and I am still an Indians and a Browns fan and if I can still be that , it's nothing to say you are a Jazz fan.
What happened to Williams and Okur? :ne_nau:Quote:

The game Saturday night in Phoenix was amazing. The Jazz played to the Suns level and played great defense. WILLIAMS was amazing and played better than NASH and OKUR hit the money shots down the stretch
The refs were trying to give the game away to Phoenix in the last minute overturning a call on OKUR, a terrible call on the WILLIAMS charge, and then giving Phoenix the timeout when they never had posession :nono: :nono: :nono:
Jazz are 3-0 against Phoenix this year and are playing great without BOOZER :2thumbs: :2thumbs: :2thumbs:
HA! HA! HA!
Phoenix Suns = Utah's BITCH!!! :roflol: :roflol: :roflol:
Phoenix who??? Nash who???Quote:

Good contribution by every player last night
OKUR - 20 points
FISHER - 19 points
WILLIAMS - 18 points, 13 assts
HARPRING - 13 points, 9 rebs
GIRICEK - 12 points
Good balance and OKUR had his heroics and the end like always
