What impact has Lebron actually made in achieving social justice? Looks like he’s doing great at closing that gender pay gap. :roflol:

Ted Wheeler Losing Mayoral Race To Far-Left Progressive Who Declared ‘I Am Antifa’

Truly incredible. This challenger wears a skirt with communist leaders' photos on it. A no joke Marxist.
What exactly does this mean for the city? Potentially the police department eliminated I suppose.
.
It's just hard to fathom how people lack analytical skills, and can't see how the results relate to actions. They just don't learn. There was a family in my neighborhood that I knew had originated from Oregon, that has been living here for several years. A couple of months ago, they sold their house, and I heard they were moving to Portland. These were good, down to home conservatives - they weren't moving there because of the politics there. I believe they were moving there simply for career options. My wife (prematurely) keeps bringing up the subject of where we want to settle down when we retire. Each city/state she mentions, I will either give a nod of possiblily, or a defenite NO, based on what I've heard and seen in the news and politics (too liberal, anti 2A, etc.). I don't know. Maybe I spend too much times listening to politics, and think that is the only thing that a city/region has to offer. But, it would take an incredible career offer to get me to move to Portland.
Exactly the same with me. You have to go a bit further, considering how long a state might last. For example, Texas is going to fall soon. Wyoming is very good and could last a while, but the very small population makes it vulnerable. Utah will be solid for a while. Idaho solid for a shorter while. Etc. My bro moved to Texas last year against my advice.
That's all I care about for my next location. I'll make a living wherever and live financially poorer to live culturally richer.
^^^Idaho will last about 20 years longer than Utah.
Montana will fall sooner than Idaho or Utah. The Dakotas + the corn belt states could stay conservative for another 50+ years. I think Wyoming will also stay conservative for a long, long time. I lived in Wyoming for a while -- those folks hate big cities, Democrats, and BYU. They detest BYU for some odd reason. :lol8:
Up for debate. Idaho's weakness is a tech influx and basic secularism. Utah has the same tech influx weakness, but the religious component slows the decay of values passed on to children. Idaho natives can lose it in one generation given public schools. Utah 2 or 3 or 4 gens. Or does Utah have significantly more pop influx in the last few?
You guys got it all wrong....ya gotta head to Baja. One of those sleepy little Mexican villages close to the sea...just learn to speak Spanish and it's all good.
Seems like you guys are resigned to the notion that liberal/progressive ideology (as it is?) will eventually roll over the entire country...can't say I disagree but one thing is for certain...this next election is going to show just what the lay of the land is and may be a bellwether for just how quick it may occur.
Without a doubt...we're experiencing (or about to) the biggest shift in politics/ideology/sociology in this country since WW2. But then again, the late 60s were pretty rockin' too.
Just a few more weeks and the pink ribbon is removed.
