Just watched High Fidelity with John Cusack and Jack Black's rendition of Let's Get It On got Marvin Gaye in my head.

You know, that movie is damn good until the whole happy-hollywood-ending bullshit. It should have ended with him alone in his apartment, surrounded by his records, wearing his headphones, listening to the Cure or Joy Division and talking to the camera about the top 5 songs to play when pretending everything is fine.
(Everything is fine. I'm just saying that would have been a better ending to the movie.)

You guys have a much bigger range than I do. I missed this whole genre of Music. Went right over my head. I don't know if I was just busy at that time or what. Could also be my age. Not picking on your music, just need to listen I guess.

I started with Peter, Paul, and Mary, The Everly Brothers, and the Kingston Trio. I had a small detour through Country and Classical. I made it all the way to about Queen and then I ran out of brain cells. I just go blank, Nada.
