Yeah, yeah, yeah, Trump dismissed this thought, but I don't think Trump understood the concept. It is in fact possible to disagree without being disagreeable. Trump once called "kinder, gentler" a concept that made one "soft". I disagree. You can in fact "speak softly and carry a big stick." The operative words are both "speak softly" and "carry a big stick". Nowadays, it seems people have reversed this whole phrase. People tend to yell, scream, shout down and use all kinds of dismissive and vulgar speech when a disagreement arises. At the same time, they usually carry a very small stick, if any at all.
