My point is that she may be grandstanding, but the end of the day she is still cutting a check. Why does it matter that it went to refugees instead of some other charity? refugees are still here in America, so helping them is helping us all. It's like the people that get all bent out of shape because the LDS church donates so much through their welfare to their own members.

All of this is irrelevant IMO. Even if we were to construct the most impenetrable wall possible the Mexicans would still find a way over/through/underneath. For hell sakes we're dealing with a culture that tunneled an escape route to free El Chapo from a Mexican prison. They're resourceful and relentless. We can spend billions trying to stop them but they will always find ways around.
