Last year at this time I was blind in my left eye and the docs didn't know if they could save it. Now I have about 70% of my vision back in the eye so it's extra special seeing the colors still on the trees.

Monday (Oct. 15) I rode from Cedar City up to Chessmen Ridge Overlook in Cedar Breaks Nat'l Monument. Yes, it was cold up there!! But I got to check out the newly repaired Hwy 14, and there were some awesome views looking south toward Zion NP.

Todays trip a loop from Pennys to Ophir, to 5 mile pass, to Foust and back to Pennys.. 56 miles... Headwinds did not help with my times at all..
