Here's the Big Hit. Got to love the 24" rear tire with 26" front. She treats me right!

That naked lady on your red bike frame is pimpin':lol8:
I used to have mine set up that way - 24" rear 26"front. Loved it! I've since put a set of KORE Torsion DH 26" on the pig along with a set of Maxxis Mobster 2.7". Still fun to ride!
Grey hair, looks like you should look into a frame with a lifetime warranty, broke my frame two years ago after having the bike for 4 and in two weeks I had a bran new frame and built bike for free. Right now I am looking for a new bike and traying to decide vs the Superfly 100 or the tallboy, only problem with the tallboy is the two year frame warranty, that will probably be my deciding factor for the superfly to end up rolling the big wheels into my garage! I hope Salsa takes care of you!
Salsa would'nt replace the frame - they'd give me a new 'equivalent' upgrade for $1000. SO, I ordered an Azonic Avenger frame today:nod::cool2::2thumbs:
Nice frame ! Looks like it will be a bit heavier than the salsa, but more duriable for the drops when you are not on the rm9.
Those welds looks pretty thick man. :cool2:
My riding is definitely an all mountain/freeride mix so this frame should hold up well:nod: I knew when I bought the Salsa that it might be too light for me but, well, live and learn I guess. I haven't settled on the front fork yet either but I have the wheels & tires, handlebars, brakes, shifters, stem, crank & seat & post....'course everything is subject to upgrade:nod:
the wheels...
Nice wheels!
No kidding, when I was shopping for a bike you steered me away from anything that wouldn't hold at least 2.5" tires :haha:Quote:

And thanks, it's been awesome :2thumbs:
:nod:I looked at the new Banshees too but I already have an account set up with Azonic - Rocky Mountain still wanted me to buy LOTS of bikes. SOooo....the Azonic is baddasss.
...and both of those girls were very convincing to me to buy the anodized red Outlaws....:slobber:
Bummer they wouldnt cut you any more slack, antoher bike company to put on the list of bikes not to buy. Seems like the list keeps on getting smaller and smaller. I like the new frame and the wheelset is going to be bad ass! Greyhair you have a santa cruz account?
No Santa Cruz. They are one of those companies that insist on you buying 10+ bikes as a first order. Not a chance.
[QUOTE=Sophie Hart;419625]Mountain biking is an unforgettable experience for any biker. I have tried different tracks in my area, and enjoyed a lot. But unfortunately I don
Sophie - we need a picture of your bike or you on/next to your bike. Welcome to the site BTW!

the new Azonic build is coming along...I figured it was all just words unless I produced some pic update:nod:
The CrankBros Joplin4 should get here tomorrow...:cool2:
Gorgeous bike! Joplin will be a nice addition... i love my drop seat, well worth every penny.
:nod:I can't wait til the test ride! The parts list so far: Azonic Avenger frame w/ Marzocchi Roco TST Air rear and Marzocchi Bomber 55 Micro Air Ti 160mm QR20 front, Azonic Outlaw wheelset, Maxxis Holyroller 2.4 tires, Shimano XT Hollowtech crank(had to put RaceFace crankrings on), Shimano XT hydraulic brakes & shifters, Monkeylite composite handlebars, CrankBros Joplin4 drop seatpost, Azonic saddle, KORE stem....hmmm....I think that's it for now.
Excellent ride there Wade, I like the color scheme as well. You might need to start off with studded tires though, it is November in Wyoming :haha:
:2thumbs:
I hear that Keith, although I'm trying to hold off on the studded tires...seems that when I order them the snow just stays here:mrgreen:
Here's my new ride - very sweet!
You luckee SOB. That is niiiiiice. :ride:
You need to meet us in St. George this winter for a ride. I gotta get back there soon. Keith needs more PTO first. :haha:
:cool2::nod:I agree COMPLETELY on St.George. I will start looking at days I have to work with after the first of the year. I've been telling Chere' we need to have a ride down there too and it's long overdue for me.
got bored today what with all the snow & cold. Changed out the stem, saddle and tires. I am SO stoked to ride.:slobber:
This is how I roll.

No pics, but I have a Trek 6500 Disc HT. I will get a pic when I get a chance.
I would hate to be the one going backwards, you got to have a lot of faith in your buddy up front.:2thumbs:
sweet two person tandem, that is pretty damn funny!
