This is Scott P on the big rap in Rock of Ages.
We haven't set a guided rappel but we have used one of those big trees at the bottom as an anchor. We then slid down the rope on a carabiner from inside the bottom of the arch to miss the puddle. Worked great. Plan on trying out a guided rappel next time I am there, my kids want to try it.
The tree at the top is not the best but pretty stout.
