glad you are ok. watching that wheel take off was crazy.
Thanks everybody. Just a little sure today :bandit:
I'll probably throw the longer video version up so you can see Terry retrieve my wheel about 50 yards away :lol8:
I'll probably try to make it out for another ride tomorrow but I can't film it as my case is all scratched.
Glad you're ok bro. I hope you get better soon. :2thumbs:
That is nutz! The wheel must have been coming loose along the way if you rode 10 miles. Most forks a safety groove that will keep the wheel on for a while when it's loose, but eventually POW. Scary...
How long did it take you to get your memory back. What was it like having a concision?
Beech, glad you're OK! Think about getting a new helmet if it took a real smash. When you can think again, that is....
I can't remember :haha:
I do ALMOST remember the dream I was having while I was out then I came to. I remember coming to and looking around and wondering where I was. Then my brother in law said I'm in Arizona and I was like WTF
Then I saw all of the cacti and realized I REALLY WAS in AZ. :lol8: I had no idea how I got there though, but it slowly came back to me, how we rented the van and drove down.
I've got the whole thing on video uncut, me crashing, then coming to, trying to remember.... I'll watch it again and maybe just post the whole unedited thing. I don't remember any foul language, but then again I can't remember a lot.
Hope you get better soon. No way to get a few days off of work!

Not the way to start a holiday :eek2: Mend well!
In the spirit of giving a Trip Report, here's my route :lol8:
I actually was able to stop them from calling in the helicopter! I asked if I had the right to refuse and the said "uh well yeah technically" and I told them that I didn't need a ride in the helicopter :haha: So I compromised and let them take me in the ambulance.

And here's the 8.4 miles we were riding earlier in the day

Really glad yours turned out better than mine did. My fused back and collared neck wish you a full and speedy recovery!
The best news of all? The GoPro is fine! It's just the case that needs a little buffering - replacement
