Looks like Verizon is going to allow the iPhone 4 to be used not just for tethering but as a mifi hotspot so you could use it to create a wireless network and connect up to 5 devices to it to get out to the internet. Soooo basically it sounds like the Verizon network is going to be in the shitter with AT&T even faster than anyone thought! :lol8:

Question...will verizon force me to buy a $30 unlimited data plan to use the iphone? I am already on Verizon and love my plan...I would love to use the iphone on my current plan. I am always walking around with my phone (calls/texts) and ipod (music/wifi) in my pocket. I'd love to have just the iphone and be done with that. I have no need for unlimited data, or any data at all for that matter. i am virtually constantly in a wifi zone and use my ipod on that.
It would just be nice to no longer carry 2 devices, but I don't want to pay for a data plan.
