I'm looking forward to the Appalachains, as well as the smokies and blue ridge and shanendoah (sp?)! I've enjoyed playing here, but the snow and the absolute ruggedness of some of the state isn't my cup of tea. I'm not too into the 'extreme' stuff.

Well I was in SLC for meeting on Monday that ended just in time for the storm to hit. So I headed for Denver.

I arrived at 11pm Wednesday night.

Wahoo, as I passed thorough Green River it occured to me that Grey hair biker lived ther but NOOOO I couldn't wait to see the inspiring streets of Laramie so I pressed on.

Do I win the crapiest commute contest?

I am going to say Yes you win. I have done the Spanish fork canyon strech of highway 6 a few times in the snow. That canyon gets pretty crazy in a heavy storm.

Green River...2hrs 40 min from SLC...straight east on I80...Cant miss it - turn off before the tunnels - I'm in the book...Greyhair Bike Repair

I said WTF and rode my motorcycle to work today. I was pretty warm, but my Ipod didn't fair so well. I found that it shuts off around 19 degrees. I will have to plug it directly into my accessory plug, the battery cant handle the cold. No tunes on the way to work blows... :lol8:
