I always have trouble with this. I have my desktop picture resized to 640 X 480 and it's still 907 kb. What am I doing wrong?

Is it a .bmp file? Those are always huge. Also, what method are you using? If Paint isn't doing the trick, try that Microsoft XP Powertoy.

It's jpeg. I'll try the Powertoy, but I was looking for a link that was up here once upon a time about resizing photos using Irfanview I think. Anyway, that's what I'm currently using.
