If it gets swept under the rug, then surely the notion of freedom, honesty and integrity is dead...our leaders are going to be "appointed" from this time on...and political ideology won't matter...it'll be the elites solidifying their wealth and power. R or D won't make a damn difference...all of them will just go along with the program or be destroyed.

This is it...the only chance we have to make it "honest". I've got my fingers crossed...but deep down, all of us around here knew this day was coming...we were even taking guesses for how much longer we've got...I was just going for 4 years at a time.

For these trolls coming in here to rub it in our faces, I reckon they weren't paying attention to that. I wonder if they truly realize that they're taking it up the ass just as we are?

It seems to me that term limits would seriously impede the ruling elite. Here is a thought. As you look at the Red-Blue map, more than two thirds of the states are red. Call a constitutional convention! I can't believe there is no movement to call upon our individual state legislatures and call for a constitutional convention to establish term limits.

Y'now Scott, this might just be a wake up call. Of course the liberal string pullers will fight it tooth and nail as well as having the media and all their powerful sycophants on their side. The oligarchs that run this country may be too powerful to overcome. I've read that revolutions are easy to get into but you've got to shoot our way out.

Have we ever seen that before, in any country?...where the people rose up and vanquished the ruling elite by largely peaceful means? You can point to some of those Soviet Bloc countries that did it...but their leaders either resigned or fled.

2020 started out bad and it's going out even worse. Amazing how it's come to this. Seems to me it started with the Iraq war...sides were taken big time and things have been going downhill ever since.

That's the last shot. But with 3/4 of the states needing to ratify with both chambers, the hurdle is extremely hard to cross.

So we sit with...

AZ on a razor's edge of a 30k difference. Trump still needs 58% of the remaining. He's been averaging about 58% from a 90-100k deficit. Tough but doable.

GA with a 1500 margin and 13k remaining, with a lot of military. Tough but doable.

PA with a margin of 28k and an unknown remaining. If the Supremes correctly rule that all ballots received after election day are tossed, then those number of unknowns go away and Trump takes the lead.

It is possible.

Indeed it is. Trump ISN'T going to concede this election until the either his lawyers or the SC tells him it's over. Remember what Hillary said a couple months ago about Biden if he loses?..."Don't concede".

You can bet that if the tables were turned, Biden would be demanding the same thing Trump is. One the counting is done and the recount eliminates the obvious bullshit...this whole thing could be reversed. And if that happens with the SC being involved, Biden will demand they take a look into it.

Good thing Trump bagged three of them, huh?

Solid blue, solid red...fine. But these states where it mattered putting up stop signs and the vote, among more than 3 million people in any given state has results within a low single digit. I can see that happening in a town of 50,000, but 3 million?

I think the "excitement" of the Dems is quite tempered...at least among the more reasonable. If I were on that side I'd have my arms across my chest as well.

With Lindsey Graham saying he wants an amnesty deal last night, the handwriting is on the wall. Even if Rs save the Senate by winning the GA seats, it's over permanently with that.

Would have to be stopped solely by a Trump win or a McConnell firewall.

Corporations have won. They want unrestricted trade, amnesty, and the Trump tax cuts/deregulation. In that order of importance. Hence why Biden is preferred.
