Too bad that 1977 cover is a photo-shopped 2006 52 steps to survive global warming cover...

still pushing that agenda but no surprise a-tall...
Now here is a seemingly good read, I like it when someone looks for the facts, providing the sources, and invites you to do the same...

ah dang....
How about this?
I graduated high school around then and do remember the hysteria.
It was cold--like the start of an ice age.
"The scientists and computers at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration were confidently predicting that the frigid weather would continue. The chilling pronouncement of NOAA's senior climatologist: 'The forecast is for no change.' "

The coming ice age in the 70's was when I learned to not fall for all the climate change bullshit. I was just a dumb kid back then and it scared the shit outta me. So I totally understand why the millenials are drinking the Kool-Aid and running around scared.
And just to top this off the coming ice age was also caused by industrialization. The smog and pollution was going to block the sun from warming the earth.... yada, yada....

I'll leave this here as most the failed predictions involve climate change...

Wow, 24 people caught for the fires down there? More than just a couple of crazies. It sounds like this thing happens often down there.

Hmmm. It’s 2020 and Glaciers are still. Well, I guess we should take down the signs that say they’ll be gone by now. Yeah, science.

Didn’t they have to do this same thing in the past there as well?
yep---thats my President:2thumbs:
After touting America's strong economy, the President told his audience Americans reject the prophets of doom who predicted overpopulation in the 1960s, mass starvation in the 1970s, and the end of oil in the 1990s.
"They are the heirs of yesterday's foolish fortune tellers,” he said. “And they want to see us do badly but we don't let that happen.”
"What President Trump said today in Davos was phenomenal,” observes Climate Depot's Marc Morano, a vocal skeptic of man-made climate change. "President Trump is the greatest challenge to the entire global warming establishment, and not just becasue of his polices, but because he is willing to challenge the narrative and tell them to their face at the actual conference what it's like."
President Trump not only criticized the doomsday predictions but summarized their goals: “These alarmists always demand the same thing: Absolute power to dominate, transform, and control every aspect of our lives,” he warned.

Can you say 'Tax wirte-offs'? I love how the left scolds and complains about Amazon not paying taxes, but then turns around and parades this move. Don't they understand that when corporations / people give money to charity / non-profits, that is deducted from the taxes they pay. So, corps and people will often give to these orgs enough money to reduce their tax liability down to $0.
He we go again.... where will the polar bears sunbath?
Half of world’s beaches will disappear by 2100 because of climate change, experts say

Correct me if I'm retarded but if the water levels rise, so do the beaches. Beaches have this weird habit of forming along the water's edge.
I wonder how scared the millionaires get about rising sea levels when they purchase beach front property. They must be terrified.
Obama was never solidly behind global warming, he more or less went along with the program because that is what his party was pushing.

More On That Billion-Dollar Solar Boondoggle In Vegas
In just a few sentences we can explain the futility of this mammoth project that will blight this great desert forever while pulling the curtain down on the futility of attempting to obtain dependable power from the sun unless it is on your rooftop.
We have been lying to ourselves about this potential for over three decades.
In a new book lightheartedly titled The Hitchhikers Journey Through Climate Change, one discovers that the renewable energy debate can be summed up with a simple Rule of Thumb.
It states “in every communities’ electric grid, an excess amount of fossil fuel or nuclear power must be available at the ready to go online in seconds, that is equal to the potential output of all intermittent solar energy considered a portion of the grids electric capacity.”

With Ocasio-Cortez Running Biden’s Energy Policy, Expect More Dangerous Nuclear Plant Shutdowns Like New York’s
One of the many things we can be grateful for in this current crisis is the reliability of the U.S. power grid — and our ability to still afford it. Unfortunately, one of those reliable energy producers has been shut down, thanks to New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
Nuclear plant engineers, coal miners, natural gas producers, utility workers, and the like might not be making appearances in the viral Instagram posts that express thanks to essential employees, but these workers are some of the unsung heroes of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Imagine, for example, how much worse this pandemic would be without reliable electricity — no heat or AC, no computer for work, no TV for the kids, and no appliances to cook. Keeping people at home would’ve been nearly impossible, and that’s not to mention all the families relying on electricity to keep their loved ones alive in intensive care.
Reliable electricity is something we take for granted, particularly in a pandemic. But with the Green New Deal lurking in the background, the time has passed to wise up.
