You are confusing numbers of viewer and revenue. Revenue is based on past viewers and estimated future viewers. Football is in a serious decline from little league to the NFL, that is a fact, how much of the NFL decline is because of the national anthem controversy is anyone's guess. But it doesn't really matter as the concussion syndrome will eventually kill the sport as parents are no longer allowing their kids to play the game. It will take a generation, but football will die unless technology can somehow stop the concussions.Quote:
